Your Greatest Betrayal I Will Not Forgive Summary
Chapter 1 of Your Greatest Betrayal I Will Not Forgive
I walked towards the park. I heard from someone that Ernest was enjoying the fresh air there. I smiled as I looked at the pregnancy test that I was going to give as our wedding anniversary present.
I couldn't imagine how Ernest would react when he found out about the two blue lines that we'd had for seven years.
However, all was shattered in an instant.
"Do you really love my daughter, Ernest?" my stepmother asked.
"I love Felice very much, Mom," Ernest replied with a serious-looking face.
My body froze, my eyes began to tear up listening to Ernest's conversation with my stepmother, Eleanor. The woman who had cheated on my father and ruined my little family.
Felice, Eleanor's daughter. She was the one who had usurped my position. In the past she had also taken my fiancé, Maxim. And now she was going to take my husband.
"Don't lie to Felice again, Ernest. I don't want my favorite daughter to be hurt by you! She's been waiting for you for six years!" Replied my stepmother with an annoyed look.
"Why would I lie, Mother? If I didn't love Felice, there's no way I would secretly donate Victoria's father's organs to Felice," Ernest replied.
My time began to stand still at the bitter truth.
My heart had been shattered into a million pieces.
"Keep your voice down, Ernest! What if Victoria finds out later?" My stepmother said in annoyance.
"My wife is too stupid, there's no way she'd know. Her father is old anyway, and I'm just hastening his death," Ernest replied to my stepmother.
I gripped my pregnancy test kit firmly, closing my eyes to hold back the emotions I wanted to let out.
"You cheater! Seven years you hid behind a mask, Ernest. Pretending to be the perfect husband. That poor girl loved you so much," my stepmother chuckled.
"It wasn't me who was the deceiver; it was my wife who was too blind for my love. I never asked her to love me. So don't worry, I'll divorce my wife and marry Felice as soon as possible. I'll do anything for Felice, Victoria means nothing to me," Ernest replied with an evil smile.
My tears just flowed. The pregnancy test I was holding in my hand fell over.
I turned my body around and ran into my room.
I sat on the cold floor, hugging my knees.
The husband that I had been proud of in front of everyone had betrayed me. Seven years we were together, it was all in vain.
I dreamily stared at the bottle of medicine on the table. My hands began to tremble as I reached for the bottle until I started to drink it.
My head hurt so much, my chest was so tight. However, it's all nothing compared to my broken feelings today. More and more, my vision began to blur until everything went dark.
My eyes reopened, I smelled the smell of medicine that was very pungent to my nose.
The first sight I saw was Ernest.
"Victoria, how are you?" asked Ernest, gently hugging my body.
I froze stiffly as he hugged me.
"I'm fine," I replied, releasing his embrace.
"No way, what happened? Why did you take that much medicine?" asked Ernest while holding my hand.
I shook my head. Suddenly my stomach felt sick at his attention.
"Fine, if you don't want to tell me. But I will always be there for you. Please don't hurt yourself again. I'll go crazy if you leave," Ernest said, hugging me again.
The warm embrace has now turned into a fire that has burned my love.
He began to kiss my forehead and both cheeks.
"Take it easy, Ernest. I just took the wrong medicine," I replied, smiling.
"You don't have to worry me anymore! I love you," he said, kissing my lips.
I nodded, letting Ernest see how obedient I was. How crazy I was for his love.
I must remain a good wife in his eyes.
After the conversation I heard earlier. I'm sure Ernest isn't really sad. He's just happy to see my condition. The tears and worry for me were all fake.
Ernest, my stepmother, and Felice have let me down. They ruined my happiness, killed my father, and ruined my life.
I promised to avenge them all. They must feel the loss and destruction without a trace of it.
