The next second, Noah pushed me to the ground as he roared at me, "Nadine, what do you want to do to Eric? Do you want to harm your sister's child because your own child died, are you still human?"
I fell to the ground. My palms rubbed against the ground and broke. It was excruciatingly painful. Yet, Noah didn't even look at me. He and Airish hugged the crying child on the left and right, like a real family of three.
My parents looked at me angrily, protecting their child without knowing right from wrong, "Nadine, you’re such a monster. This is why we love Airish than you. Look at you, how can you compare to Airish? You’re helpless. You are so mean and dark. You don't even let such a young child go, you beast!"
"Why are you still lying on the ground? Get out quickly, don't get in our way, you really ruined my good mood."
The elders of the Riders Family who just arrived asked about the situation and their eyes were full of disappointment in me.
"We don't blame you for accidentally miscarrying the child and we, the Riders Family, have never thought of letting you two divorces even if you can't have a baby, but why do you have to do it to a little baby?"
"Airish's child is one of the the Riders Family's genealogy. Whether you agree or not, it can't change the facts. Go back and reflect on it."
At this moment, I had nothing to say, but after all, considering the child's innocent life, I whispered, "It's easy for a young child to suffocate if he wears a red rope."
Airish opened the child's neck and found that it was all red. Her face was immediately ashamed. Meanwhile, Noah told me not to mind, "Airish is just worried about the child, not targeting you on purpose."
My mother said impatiently, "Why don't you say it earlier if you knew it? Are you deliberately playing misery? Besides, if you were not unlucky enough to kill the child, would your sister sacrifice for you and let you raise the child? You should thank her anyway!"
Everyone stood on Airish's side and attacked me for her. My eyes were blurred by tears. I went upstairs without saying a word and threw the printed divorce agreement into the shredder. No divorce.
They didn't love me or believe me. I would completely disappear from their lives. I didn't want them anymore. I sat in the guest room for a long time, listening to the laughter and joy below and gradually fell asleep.
When I woke up again, the villa was quiet. I had a severe stomach ache and went downstairs to find something to eat. The servant said disdainfully that there was no food. If I wanted to eat, I could make it myself. The ingredients were in the basement.
However, I saw Airish sitting on Noah's head with her legs apart.
She sounded whiningly and said, "Noah, if my sister finds out, she will be sad. Um... It's so uncomfortable, Noah..."
Noah hooked his lips evilly, "Airish, you obviously like me, why do you always reject me? Don't worry, she won't know. I did promise you that I won't tie you down with marriage, but you have to satisfy me."
Airish hugged Noah's head with both hands and pushed her waist forward. "Noah, this is for the last time, okay? After that, I will go abroad and won't disturb you and my sister. We will be the purest childhood sweethearts."
Noah stopped talking. The unbearable voice drilled into my ears with the wind, making me sick and unable to stand. I staggered out of here. Until I was far away from that suffocating place, I barely came back to my soul. My tears fell on the ground.
I sat on the curb in confusion and the next second, Airish's soft and uneasy voice sounded. "Sister, I'm sorry for what happened today."
"What is it about?"
I looked at her guilty eyes. "It's just... I misunderstood that you wanted to hurt Eric. This is my first time as a mother and I overreacted to the safety of my baby. I didn’t mean to against you."
