Airish's eyes were red when she said that. She choked up and continued, "Don't worry, sister. I will go abroad after Eric's full moon banquet and I will never come back from now on. You will take care of our parents, Eric and Noah."

"I saw it all, why are you covering up for her? Since the day she came back, she has never had good intentions towards you."
Noah looked at me with a gloomy face, "You killed your child and you dare to target Airish? Nadine, you’re really shameless!"
What did he say? I was stubborn? I killed my own child?
Tearing open the clothes at the uterus, I angrily questioned and yelled, "You dare to say that I killed my own child? Then answer me! How could I eat the food you cooked for me and got a heavy bleeding? Tell me, how did my child die? Why can't I get pregnant again?!"
Noah said without any guilt, "What do you mean? You slander me because I cooked for you and it went wrong? Who knows what you ate before? In fact, you had your uterus removed because you are useless and you still have the nerve to question me?”
Noah sighed hardly being frustrated. “C’mon Nadine, you almost became a mother. How can you bear to hurt another mother who wants to raise your child? You have to apologize to Airish!"
I was laughing so hard that I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. He looked such a convincing, that my child was accidentally died and I should have been grateful to be alive! Haha! Did I really look disgraceful?!
"No, thank you." I suddenly bowed and turned away.
Noah panicked, thinking he was going to lose something. After all, he only shook his head. He was just angry. When Airish left, he most likely would coax her to forgive me.
A few days later, it was my birthday and so was Airish. However, Noah spent a lot of money to celebrate Airish’s. Drones and fireworks were set off all night and they were becoming hot topics of the entire country. The Clark Family also booked the Ritz Palace for Airish, playing birthday wishes in turn.
On the other hand, I cooked a bowl of longevity noodles for myself and packed up all the things to be distributed to the homeless people around.
The next day, they seemed to remember that they missed my birthday. My brother sent me a cake guiltily. Meanwhile, Noah asked his secretary to send me a necklace as a gift.
I squatted by the trash can and burned all the wedding photos as well as my marriage certificates bit by bit. The ashes were scattered with the wind.
On the morning of the third day, Noah called me. "Nadine, I forgive you for what happened in the past. Dress nicely for the full moon banquet today. I'll ask my secretary to pick you up at noon."
I agreed with a smile, as if I really had no grudges. After hanging up the phone, I changed into the classic gown I could only find and went straight to the hotel. The auspicious time for the full moon banquet had passed, but I didn't show up.
