After hanging up,Julie returned home.
The moment she entered,the living room floor was covered with baby supplies.
Julie's heart skipped a beat and a chill ran through her body.Could it be Tom knew she was pregnant?
Just then,Tom carefully helped Stacy down the stairs,treating her like a precious treasure.
He had cherished her just like this when he was courting her—holding her in his hands for fear she might fall,cradling her in his mouth for fear she might melt.

Julie had not been back for a week,but instead of concern,the first thing he did was accuse her,“Where have you been all this time?You neglected the company and didn't come home.”

Stacy rowned and grabbed To's hand,assuming the posture of the mistress of the house."Tom,don't be so harsh.Your wife probably had her reasons.At least she's back now.”
"For my sake,please stop taking your wife down."
Julie narrowed her eyes slightly as she watched her putting on an act.
"This is my home,this house is my name,look at your face?What face do you have here?”
With the mistress practically being blatant in her face,she couldn't hold back any longer.
Stacy's face immediately stiffened.Suddenly,she clutched her stomach,leaned into his embrace and said weakly,"Tom,your wife is angry.This is all my fault.Maybe I should just leave,so I don't cause trouble.”
Before she finished,Tom coldly rebuked Julie,"Julie,why are you being arrogant when you have just returned?Stacy is pregnant with my child.She’ll be staying here for the time being.Since you refuse to go to the company,you can stay home and take care of her.”
"She is young and inexperienced.You need to be more attentive.”
Instantly,Julie's heart plummeted.
She’d nearly miscarried after being hit while pregnant,yet Tom hadn’t lifted a finger to help.Now he brought his mistress into the house and expected her to be the nanny.
Seeing Julie remain silent,Tom had already prepared his rebuttal.But she suddenly replied,"Fine."
Hearing Julie's agreement,Tom was confused.According to her temperament,how could she agree so easily?
“Don't you have anything to ask?”
Julie looked up,stared at him and smiled radiantly."Nope.There's nothing to ask.You have cheated and the child is yours,isn't this obvious?”
Besides,your little lover sends me photos of the two of you together every single day.It'd be hard not to know.”
Julie directly pulled up screenshots of Stacy's repeated provocation.
Tom's brows knitted tightly as he read them,yet he didn't say a single word against Stacy.Instead,he defended her,"Stacy is inexperienced and doesn't know any better.Please be more understanding.”
Though Julie wasn't surprised by this outcome,her eyes still stung with tears.She raised her eyes to stare at him,smiled and said,"Okay.”
Tom,once again,you've failed the test.
