“Hey honey…please listen!” Josh has kept on following me, making me unleash my long and pointed nails.
“Shut the hell up!” I whispered and buried my nails on his neck. “Please don’t fucking talk. You are giving me a headache! We both talked about it and yet you didn’t listen!?”
“Aww!” he uttered and held his bleeding neck. “What the hell!?”
“You have a lot of tasks, and yet you have the nerve to cheat!?” I whispered and looked around. “They don’t have any idea that we are different creatures, yet you are sleeping with just random people!? Let alone a freaking university student! I gave you my life!”
“How did you know she’s a student? I don’t even know she’s one!” he reasoned out and removed the blood on his neck using a paper towel from the table. “Do you know her?”
“Yeah, because you used your head below rather than your head above! She’s my student!” I responded and tightened my grip on his necktie. “Once she discovers your hidden side, she will definitely drop you like a fucking trash, and you will hate yourself for hurting the person who supported you through time!”
“If she found out about me, I will surely reveal your secret too!” he grabbed my hair and whispered in my ear. “And your life will surely be in shambles.” I gulped and closed my eyes.
“Are you threatening me?” I replied and laughed. ”Don’t you dare to fuck with me, Josh. I endured everything for you, and if you fuck with me, you know I won’t let you live happily.”
“Yeah, like how you killed my brother?” my eyes widened at that moment. We both said that we would bury this conversation, and yet he brought it up. I never killed his brother but rather saved him from his abusive grandfather. Still, it is an unsettled dispute among us, since he disappeared. They made it seem that I hid his body, but since they were self-proclaimed good people, they decided not to put me in jail.
“Why are you bringing this up?!” I teared up and laughed. “We both talked about this! I never killed your brother!”
“Then why are you acting like a freaking suspect!” he screamed and cupped my face. “You are not an angel, am I right? So don’t act like you are the nicest among all!”
“So whether you like it or not, you will stay with me, since you are my mate..” he whispered. “Besides, you should be grateful that I accepted you even if you are a hybrid. I could reject you, but I didn’t because I love you, and I don’t want you to die..” he leaned closer and kissed my lips. After discovering that he had been sleeping with someone else, all I could feel at that moment was hatred and pain.
“Shall we make some kids now?” he whispered.
“Not when there is still a naked girl in your office.” I sighed. “Besides, we might turn into a wolf any moment since there is a full moon.”
“Wait for me in the car..” he told me and started walking back to his office.

“Good morning prof–Wait, are you okay?” I immediately smiled at one of my students and fixed my glasses. “You seem pale and sad.”
“I am okay, I just skipped some breakfast.” I grinned and continued walking.
“Ah, prof!” I stopped for a moment and glanced back. “Do you want to have lunch with me?”
“Sorry, I still need to finish some paperwork. Maybe some other time.” I replied and tightened my grip on my books. “See you in class.”

“Mrs. Adams, I am glad you finally arrived in the office. Someone left a lunchbox for you.” I furrowed my brows and placed the laptop on my desk. “Perhaps it must be your husband? Such a sweet guy!”
There was a note inserted in the lunchbox, making me narrow my eyes.
“Honestly, when are you guys having babies?”
“If I were you, I would rather be a housewife and have a husband like him. Every day, I would make sure I look pretty for him.”
“I know right? But still, knowing Mrs. Adams, she would always prefer work over anything.”
