Sold To The Billionaire Alpha King

My heart hasn’t stopped aching since I saw that text.

Why? Why me? I just lost Calvin, and now when I thought I had someone better I lost him even before he became mine.

“Hana, baby everything will be fine. I am not planning on letting you go.” Leonardo leans over to my seat in the airplane as his fingers stretched out to brush a strand of my hair.

I really wanted to believe him, but I couldn’t not after what Calvin did. What if he decided he wanted an heir I couldn’t provide then he would leave me again.

I couldn’t do that to myself twice.

I turned away from him, refusing to look or stare at him no matter what he did.

I couldn't get hurt twice.

The rest of the ride to Orleans was quiet, I didn't like it but I didn’t dare do a thing about it.

We arrived at Orleans earlier than expected, thanks to the moon goddess.

I couldn’t survive any more second with him that close to me.

“Do you need anything?” he asked, slowly brushing his fingers across my waist as he steered me through the crowds of people.

“No.” I forced my voice to be hard, and cold.

I was his slave, I couldn't be rude to my master even if the said master was crushing on me.

“I hope you know she isn’t coming here because she loves me.” he said once we had settled into the car that would be driven to the pack house.

I perk up at the revelation feeling both relief, and confusion.

“So why is she here then?” I grumble under my breath, wishing that I would close my eyes, and it would all be okay.

“She wants the influence that comes with being the Alpha luna. Her parents alongside mine also want this for the benefits.” he murmured, trumping to me again.

“Please Hana, don't give up on me, don't give up on us please.” he pleaded with the most sincere looks I have ever seen.

“But everyone hates me, and they haven’t even seen me yet.” I exclamate, tears blurring my vision.

It hurts so bad that I am being rejected everywhere I go, even if I haven't done anything.

“My parents are only invested in this because they feel she is pregnant, and me getting married to her is better.” he grumbled, tugging at the helm of his shirt.

“Isn't it? I can't get pregnant, you most definitely need an heir.” the tears made my voice shaky, I moved my trembling fingers to wipe off the tears.

He chuckles, his beautiful dimples popping out as he caresses my face, “You aren't barren, you were barely married for a year.” he snorted, rolling his eyes like me being barren is the most ridiculous idea ever.

My heart warms, at least he cares.

He suddenly sits up, his eyes lit up with mischief, “You know what fuck them. They can wait, let's go have fun.” he suggested, telling the driver to turn around.

My eyes widen like that of a saucer, “What are you doing, Leonardo? We have to get back to your home.” I whispered, an involuntary smile tainting my lips.

“It's your home too, and they can all wait. You come first.” he murmured, placing his lips on my forehead.

I sighed in relief, some part of me satisfied that he would put them on hold for me.

The other part kept on wondering if he would still be like this after a few months or after his first child was born.

But, a kiss from him made me momentarily forget my problems even existed as we rode to the park.

“We aren't kids, Leonardo. Why the park?” I whined, pouting childishly.

He smiled, his voice gruff and as he spoke, “Because I knew it would bring out your inner child. Besides, the park is always fun, come on.”

He stepped out, and opened the car door for me. We played so much at the park, it was amazing. But as night drew we had to leave, and go face reality.

One that was a total nightmare for me.

We finally drove back to the pack house. It was a beautiful sight to behold. The building was so large it had about fifty rooms or more.

Painted in white, and gold. The living room had a huge chandelier that looked like it would fall, and break at the slightest touch.

On getting to the pack house, Gahlia had already returned. The whole pack adored her while I was cast away.

Leonardo’s mother most especially hated me for reasons I could not fathom.

Leonardo had a meeting so I decided to take a walk to clear my head, and think of a way to win the people's heart.

The hall was quiet as I headed to the one place I knew always held peace, the garden.

“Have you heard?”

“No, heard what?”

“That she is infertile because she has had so many abortions.”

“Oh my goodness!!! Are you sure?”

“Of course. Deleany had told me that our Alpha’s mother told him, and even showed her proof from her previous doctors.”

What!!! My steps faltered in the hall as I heard maids talk about me like a disease.

“She can't be our Luna.”

“No way. Luna Gahlia is better, after all she is carrying Alpha's child.”

I couldn't stand there anymore, I came out of my hiding place, and rushed past them. Looks of disgust, and hate was thrown at me as I walked.

Tears blurred my vision, rolling down my eyes uncontrollably as I moved with my head ducked down in shame.

I didn't deserve this. Why would she tell such lies? Did she hate me that much?

Of course she did.

My steps faltered for the second time as I heard a familiar voice, “Yes, this pregnancy is a plan to ruin them.”

What!!!! My eyes widened in shock as my body involuntarily leaned in to hear more.
