Hana's POV
“You can't do anything to me, I'm the real Luna,” I cried out in panic, the more I panicked the crazier I looked.
“There's no way you're the luna. How can the Luna of our pack look like this? You should be composed and decent at all times just like her.” His mom compared me to Maribel who smiled, curtseying at them.
“Hypocrite,” I growled at her, blinking furiously.
“I'm grateful for your kind words mom, Hana had gone crazy a while ago and tried to attack me had it not been for the Alpha, I would have been harmed by her.”
“Shut the fuck up, you liar!” I shouted. It was really puzzling seeing them lie this effortlessly and Calvin’ parents totally believing it.
“Why don't you get this unruly, useless bitch out of here. She deserves to be locked up, so you get pretty safe!” Calvin’ dad demanded. My jaw dropped. His son’s face instantly became furious.
“Guards!” He called out right away. I shook, looking at him with shock.
“Is he calling for my arrest for real?” I wondered to myself.
“Do you really have to do this to me? Is what you're doing fair before the moon goddess and man?” I cried out, he tried to avoid my gaze. His lips shivered and he looked somewhat uneasy. He refused to meet my gaze no matter what.
“If I end up leaving this house and I'm locked up, you, Maribel, claiming to be your mate will meet with her ultimate fate. I repeat again.” My voice re-echoed in the room, sending so much authority I never thought I could command. “Whether I'm alive or dead, mark my words.”
“Maribel,” I turned to face her directly. “You will definitely suffer a miscarriage and even if you don't surface a miscarriage, you will surely die during childbirth.” I cursed her.
“What the hell are you staying?”
My eyes caught her jumping towards me, her lips wide open, gnashing her teeth and growling. She jumped on me immediately, pulling my hair. Her eyes turned yellow, she was going to shift.
“I'm going to deal with you. How dare you curse me and my child.”
We fought, rolling on the ground. My fists sailed towards her in hard punches, my legs kicked at her. I was so quick before getting picked, even before Calvin or his parents could come to separate us.
Three hefty men walked in, fierce looking with heavy chest. Their eyes descended on me. Goosebumps descended all over my body upon being arrested by the deadliest sect in the pack’s security.
“Lock her up right away!” She growled. Most painful thing. It wasn't even Calvin asking for my arrest right now but his mistress.
I turned to Calvin but he shrugged his shoulders. “I didn't plan this for you but you have grown too violent. There's nothing I can do. My Luna has spoken and her words stand.”
The men grabbed me tight, twisting my hands to my back and placed handcuffs on them. It was so tight that my veins twisted, I felt my skin tear open from the force.
“Move! You lunatic. You don't know what's good for you and you dare to attack the Luna.”
I watched helplessly as the name which was my mate’s mistress got labeled on me. I was framed and accused before his parents.
Calvin knew the truth, Maribel knew she was the imposter but just because she was pregnant with Calvin' child I was completely thrown aside and humiliated. I could only watch as the pack doctor replaced me and took over my position by Calvin' side.
I was thrown into the dungeon at the courtyard of the pack house. This dungeon was specially meant for traitors, those who planned to overthrow the Alpha or committed other severe crimes.
I fell to the cold stone floor as the guards pushed me, locking the cell from the outside.
I sat on the floor, burying my face between my knees as I sobbed. “Oh goddess! Please come to my aid. You're my only help.” I pleaded to the goddess as I did not know who else to turn to. I cried myself to sleep.
When I woke up, still in the same position I was before I fell asleep, I saw Maribel standing by the gate of my cell.
“What are you doing here?” My eyes suddenly turned black with hatred, they were arching from too much crying.
“Humm. You're still full of yourself. You should know that I can help you? You're at my mercy now. Why don't you submit and let me help you out of this suffering?”
“I don't need your help. Just get the hell out of here.” I lashed back at her. “I'll come out of here soon and I'll watch you crawl on your knees begging me to forgive you with tears in your eyes. When this time comes, even if you shed tears of blood, I still won't forgive you.”
I knew she wanted to step all over me, no matter what she does it won't change the fact that she can never be me no matter what.
I stayed in the cell for the next three days, surprisingly I wasn't given any food or water and I had to sleep on the cold stone floor. There wasn't even water to wash myself, the worst part is that I was seeing my monthly flow.
“I think I'd rather die than continue to live this kind of life.” I said to myself but just when it seemed all hope was lost and I was sinking in despair, I heard the key to my cell dangling. I raised my head to see the chief guard in charge of here.
“Get up and get cleaned. Water will be provided for you and a new change of clothes. The lycan king is here to see you.”
“And what business do I have with the Lycan king?” I murmured in confusion.
I was about to ask more questions from the chief guard when some women came in with their noses covered, they dragged me out of the cell and took me to the bathroom where they washed me thoroughly.
I felt fresh with a lovely scent from the bath and the new change of clothes, a radiant blue silk flowing gown and a pair of luxury slippers.
“He's in the guest room with the Alpha and his mate,” one of the ladies said.
“Is anything wrong?” I asked, feeling puzzled at the way she looked at me right after saying this, with witty eyes and lips curled into a tight grin. She just shook her head and gestured on me to go in.
