After My New Life, I Decided to Ruin My Family Who Chose My Adopted Sister

After Pamela spoke, everything changed. My parents stopped calling me Pamela and began using my full name coldly. They even cursed at me.

I couldn’t understand why they had changed so much. I needed to find the answer in this second chance at life.

Pamela soon brought an old widower to the caravan.

She said in the local dialect, “Make her suffer and she’s yours.”

My blood turned cold. I pinched my thighs to stay calm, but my heart burned with hatred. No wonder the man had tortured me so badly in my past life.

It turned out that it was all Pamela’s doing.

The old man came closer. His eyes were disgusting and his body smelled terrible. Just as he tried to touch me, I kicked him hard between the legs.

He fell, groaning in pain. But that was nothing compared to what he did to me before.

I ran out of the caravan, shouting, “Help!”

My parents and Pamela chased after me, but some herdsmen had already gathered after hearing the noise.

“Please save me!” I begged in the local dialect.

“They want to sell me to that man!”

Pamela’s face changed.

She quickly translated, trying to cover it up as she said, “She’s sick. She always thinks people are trying to hurt her. We’ll take her to the doctor.”

My parents grabbed my arms, trying to drag me back. I held tightly onto a herdswoman’s legs, crying,

“I’m not sick! They really want to hurt me!”

The herdsmen looked unsure. But then the old widower came out, holding his crotch and shouting in anger.

Pamela used the chance to say, “See? She’s crazy! Stay away from her!”

Hearing this and seeing the old man’s face, the herdsmen backed away. Even the woman I held pushed me off in fear. My parents grabbed me and dragged me into the caravan.

“Which wine did you not drink? How can you speak the local dialect?” my father shouted.

“You cunning girl!”

Pamela sneered as she said, “Do you think you can win? It’s useless. One word from me is enough to destroy you.”

She gave a signal and the old man came in with a stone.

“You dared to kick me. Let’s see if your legs are harder than this rock!”

In my past life, he had used that stone to smash my legs.

Terrified, I tried to run, but my parents held me down.

“Break her legs! She won’t be able to escape!”

“Make sure she can never stand again. Then she’ll never compete with Pamela!”

They looked like monsters. The old man raised the stone.

After that, suddenly, I heard a voice behind me.

“Stop! Don’t touch Madeline!”

Andrew rushed in, pushed the old man away and helped me up.

“Madeline, are you hurt?” he asked, holding me tightly.

Then, he turned to my parents.

“Uncle, Aunt … weren’t you supposed to be traveling? How could you let this happen? I need answers.”
