Rejecting the Unfaithful Alpha

The pack house felt suffocating as I made my way through the dimly lit corridors toward Ethan's office. It was well past midnight, and most of the pack had retired for the evening, leaving only the soft padding of night patrol wolves echoing in the distance. My weakened wolf stirred restlessly within me, sensing something amiss but unable to articulate what. I'd volunteered to organize the territorial documents for next week's claiming ceremony—our ceremony. The moonlit hillside territory we'd dreamed of for years was finally within reach, and I wanted everything perfect for the moment we'd make it official. Ethan had seemed distracted lately, claiming increased rogue activity demanded his attention, but I attributed it to pre-ceremony nerves. The office door creaked as I pushed it open, moonlight streaming through the tall windows and casting long shadows across the mahogany desk. Stacks of territorial maps and legal documents awaited my attention, but as I reached for the main filing cabinet, my elbow knocked against Ethan's laptop, causing it to spring to life. The screen illuminated, revealing what appeared to be surveillance footage from various pack territories. I moved to close it, not wanting to invade his privacy, but something in the timestamp caught my eye.

Chapter 1 of Rejecting the Unfaithful Alpha

Last Tuesday, 11:47 PM—the same night Ethan claimed he was patrolling the eastern borders.

My breath caught in my throat as the footage began to play.

There, in a hidden forest clearing I recognized from our own territory, stood Ethan. But he wasn't alone. Violeta emerged from the shadows, her usually pristine appearance disheveled, her dark hair falling in waves around her shoulders. What made my world tilt on its axis wasn't just seeing them together—it was the way she moved toward him, the intimate familiarity in her gestures.

My hands trembled as I watched Violeta tilt her neck, exposing the tender skin where a fresh mating mark gleamed in the moonlight. Ethan's mark. The same mark that should have been mine alone.

"No," I whispered, but the footage continued its merciless revelation.

Violeta's hand moved protectively over her belly, and even through the grainy surveillance feed, I could see the subtle swell beneath her shirt. Pregnant. She was pregnant with his pup.

I sank into Ethan's chair, my legs no longer able to support me. The mate bond that had once felt like a warm, constant presence in my chest now burned like acid. How long had this been going on? How many nights had he lied about patrol duties while I waited at home, preparing meals and tending to pack business?

The surveillance system showed multiple files, each labeled with dates spanning the past several months. My finger hovered over the mouse, part of me desperate to know the full extent of his betrayal, part of me terrified of what else I might discover.

I clicked on another file. This one showed them in what appeared to be an abandoned den, Violeta's laughter echoing as Ethan spun her around, his face bright with a joy I hadn't seen directed at me in months. The timestamp read three weeks ago—the same night he'd told me he was too exhausted from Alpha duties to attend the pack celebration I'd been looking forward to.

My best friend. My mate. The two people I trusted most in this world.

The office door suddenly creaked, and I quickly closed the laptop, my heart hammering against my ribs. But it was only Marcus, my brother, carrying a steaming mug of tea.

"Couldn't sleep either?" he asked, setting the mug on the desk. His eyes, so similar to mine, studied my face with concern. "You look like you've seen a ghost."

I wanted to tell him everything, to collapse into his arms and let him comfort me like he had when we were children. But the words stuck in my throat, too painful and too unbelievable to voice.

"Just nervous about the ceremony," I managed, forcing a smile that felt like shattered glass.

Marcus nodded, though his expression remained troubled. "Ethan's lucky to have you, Em. What you did for him during the rogue attack... not many would sacrifice their wolf's strength for their mate."

His words were meant to comfort, but they only deepened the ache in my chest. I had given everything for Ethan—my strength, my future with the Lycan Council, my very essence as a wolf. And this was how he repaid that sacrifice.

After Marcus left, I sat alone in the darkness, the weight of my discovery settling over me like a suffocating blanket. Tomorrow, I would have to face Ethan, to look into the eyes of the man I'd loved with every fiber of my being and demand answers I wasn't sure I was strong enough to hear.

But tonight, I would grieve for the life I thought we were building together, and prepare for the confrontation that would change everything.

After He Chose His Mistress I Became His Rival's Star
After He Chose His Mistress I Became His Rival's Star
As my client was getting a little too friendly, Nasir Bradley was enjoying a glass of wine with his assistant nearby. Trying to keep the client happy, I ended up drinking more than I should have and felt on the verge of passing out. Yet Nasir didn’t so much as glance at me; he was too busy picking the olives out of his assistant’s dish, encouraging her to eat. After dinner, the assistant remarked that it had been dull, which was all Nasir needed to hear before pulling over and practically pushing me out of the car to take her to the next event. “This young lady has been working hard lately; I'm just taking her out for some fun,” Nasir said dismissively. “You probably wouldn't understand what the younger crowd is into these days, so it’s best if you don’t come along. Besides, I’m going to make sure she has a great time tonight; we can talk about the marriage license another time.” For five years, Nasir had canceled our wedding plans ninety-nine times. I nodded. If he was always busy, there was really no point in going through with it. From the slightly open passenger window, Leah Palmer stuck out her tongue apologetically, "Sorry, Christina, Nasir's just spoiling me a bit.
After My Husband Chose His Mistress Over Our Dying Daughter
After My Husband Chose His Mistress Over Our Dying Daughter
While recovering from childbirth, my husband, Damien, was brought home drunk from a bar by some friends, with a woman at his side. He vomited everywhere, and I silently stayed by his side all night. When he finally opened his eyes, the first thing he said was, "She's pregnant. Let's get divorced." I didn't cry or make a scene, just calmly nodded. In my past life, I took my wrapped-up baby out into the street and caused a commotion. Soon, the woman was known as a homewrecker across our small town, and in her despair, she jumped into a river. Damien was fired for misconduct, but he never blamed me. On our daughter's first birthday, he set fire to the yard, killing me, our child, and my parents. In those final moments, I saw his twisted smile as he said, "Go down and keep my Gwendolyn company." Then, I opened my eyes again, back to the moment he told me about the divorce. "Gwendolyn is different from you.

After My Lover Forgot Me, I Let Him Go
The rain had been falling for three hours straight when I heard the knock. It wasn't really a knock. More like something heavy leaning against the door. A thud, then silence, then another thud. Like someone didn't have the strength to lift their fist but kept trying anyway. I was sitting on the kitchen counter with a bowl of cereal I wasn't eating, scrolling through headlines on my phone. The same headlines I'd been reading for four days. HOLDEN ARMSTRONG STILL MISSING AFTER ON-SET EXPLOSION. A-LIST STAR VANISHES FROM CEDARS-SINAI — SEARCH INTENSIFIES. WHERE IS HOLDEN ARMSTRONG?

The greenhouse was my sanctuary in a pack house that had never felt like home. Dawn hadn't yet broken when I slipped inside, the familiar scent of damp soil and blooming flowers wrapping around me like an embrace I'd long been denied elsewhere. My fingers trembled slightly as I reached for the watering can—a weakness I couldn't afford to show outside these glass walls. I focused on the white lilies, my favorites. Their pure petals reminded me of what I once was—hopeful, untainted. Before the mate bond that became my prison. "You're wilting too, aren't you?" I whispered to a drooping bloom, gently supporting its stem. My wolf, Luna, whimpered softly in the back of my mind. Once silver and strong, she now barely stirred, weakened by the sickness that had been consuming us both since I gave too much blood to save William three years ago. A sudden tremor ran through my bones, stronger than the usual morning weakness.
Alpha's Betrayal Unveiled
Alpha's Betrayal Unveiled
I smoothed down the front of my silver gown, the one Alexander had gifted me on our fifth anniversary, as I entered the monthly Silverfang council meeting. The familiar faces of pack members nodded respectfully as I passed, taking my seat beside the ornate chair reserved for my mate, the Alpha. Seven years as Luna had taught me the rhythm of these gatherings—budget discussions, territory reports, and the occasional dispute resolution. Nothing I couldn't handle with the grace expected of Alexander's mate. My wolf, Aria, stirred within me. *Something feels wrong today.* I dismissed her concern with practiced ease. *It's just another meeting, dear one.* But when Alexander entered, his gaze swept past me as if I were invisible. The chill that ran down my spine wasn't just from the draft in the ancient stone chamber. "Let's begin," he announced, his voice carrying that natural authority that had first drawn me to him all those years ago. The meeting proceeded normally until Sarah Mitchell, the Beta's sister, rose from her seat across the chamber.
Betrayed by My Alpha Mate

The bass from the karaoke bar pulsed through my chest like a second heartbeat, each thump making my temples throb. I watched Lucca laughing with his pack brothers, his arm slung casually over Delta Marcus's shoulder as they belted out some terrible rendition of an old pack anthem. The crowd was a sea of familiar faces from Silvermoon, all here to celebrate our territory's founding anniversary. I'd been smiling for two hours straight, playing the perfect Luna-to-be, but the noise was finally winning. 'I need some air,' I murmured to Mira, who nodded with understanding before turning back to her own conversation. The cool night air hit my face like a blessing as I slipped through the bar's side door. Silvermoon territory at night was beautiful—the trees rustled gently, and moonlight painted everything in silver and shadow. I took a deep breath, letting Selene, my wolf, stretch contentedly within me. For just a moment, I could pretend I was alone with the night sky. Then I heard Lucca's voice.
