My Wife Sent Me Into The Uninhabited Area

Seeing his beloved secretary feel so aggrieved, Estelle immediately turned cold. “Mortimer, you still don’t know your mistakes. It’s hopeless. Lincoln is obviously the wronged party and I will not let you bully him again.”

Looking at Lincoln’s clumsy performance, I laughed out loud.

“Estelle, do you believe his clumsy excuse? Have you forgotten how much salary you paid him a month? 13,000 dollars a month, but I only have 600 dollars a month. How could he not have money to take a taxi? Don’t you see what he is wearing?”

Lincoln was wearing famous brands and was valuable and I only wore a few cheapest clothes in a season.

Just because of the 600 dollars, I basically didn’t have any left after paying the utilities and electricity bills at home and I had no spare money to buy clothes.

Hearing this, Estelle’s face turned red for a moment and then she said angrily, “Are you complaining about the high salary I paid for Lincoln? He just graduated and needed money to rent a house and eat and commute. What’s wrong with giving him more and letting him not work so hard? You are the director and my husband, who has food and accommodation, so why do you need such a salary?”

“I think you are just jealous of Lincoln, so I deliberately left him behind. This time, I must punish you well so that you can know how wrong you are.”

No matter what Lincoln did, she would defend him. I didn’t seem to have anything to say to her.

It was just that it was getting darker and I had to rely on the compass to keep myself away from danger as much as possible.

Unexpectedly, a wolf’s howl came from a distance. I looked closely and almost lost my breath.

There were more than a dozen wolves standing on the hillside in the distance, staring at my place with bright eyes, as if they were about to rush over at any time.

My legs and feet were so weak and my face turned pale. If these wolves rushed over, I would definitely be torn to pieces.

I looked up at Estelle in the plane. As long as she put down the rescue ladder, I could get out of danger.

Estelle also looked at me, but she had no worries in her eyes, only jokes and cruelty. “Mortimer, I know you are afraid now and you want to beg me, but unfortunately, it’s too late. You threw Lincoln on the road at 45 degrees. He fainted from heat stroke after walking back to the company and he almost lost his life. This is what you owe him. I have to teach you a lesson.”

I looked at Estelle incredulously, intending to give her a last chance. As long as she was willing to let me get on the plane, I could give up the principle for her again.

“Estelle, that’s a wolf. Do you know what I would become if they pounced on me? What did I do wrong? You want me to die?”

Estelle was stunned for a moment, then looked at me with a normal expression.

“You won’t die. I just want you to learn a lesson and I will take you back when you get a lesson.”

I smiled and burst into tears. After all, I overestimated my status in her heart. I looked at Estelle in disappointment. “Estelle, you don’t need to take me back.”

Estelle, no matter what happened from now on, you must remember that this was the fruit of your doings today.

Hearing my words, Estelle looked angry. “What do you mean? Is it because I didn’t let you get on the plane right away, so you’re throwing a tantrum with me? I’m so nice to you every time and this is your payback?”

At this moment, the wolves began to run towards me.

I was too lazy to talk nonsense with Estelle anymore and started running to the other side.

I dared not relax at all, so I rushed forward desperately, just trying to keep the distance between me and the wolf as much as possible.

But how could a person run away from a wolf? I could almost hear my heartbeat as I heard the wolf cries getting closer and closer.
