Falling for My Twin's Incitement, My Mother Choose not to Give Birth to Me

Something came to her mind and suddenly she asked stiffly, "Is your worthless sister ... still alive?"

I felt her slightest bit of concern for me. But Nora suddenly kicked me hard and I jumped up in pain.

Then I heard her say to our mother, "Don't worry, Mom, she's living better than me."

"Even with reduced umbilical cord nutrition, she's still very strong."

Delila felt my sudden, violent fetal movement. With a cold snort, she said, "Just as I thought, a real troublemaker, so tough."

She was in pain from my sister's kick, struggling to get up with a big belly. But a leg cramp caused her to fall forward.

In the split second before she landed, she instinctively turned to the side -- to the place where I was.

The huge impact knocked me unconscious.

Pieter was immediately panic and worried to see his wife fall. "Honey, let me go with you to the hospital for a checkup," he said. Delila, however, didn't take it seriously.

"No, there's no need to go to the hospital as long as Nora is okay."

I felt her gently shaking me in a daze and she muttered. "Why hasn't that little bitch moved for so long?"

Realizing her own unconscious worry and concern for me, her face paled and she immediately changed her tone. "The fetal heartbeat is so low, won't it hurt my precious baby?"

"No, I have to go to the hospital right away!"

"If anything happens to the baby, it's still possible to have an emergency caesarean-section!"

Worried the prenatal checkup would reveal my imperfect body, Nora began kicking and beating in her mother's womb wildly, disregarding her mother's safety.

She, at the same time, pitifully said, "Noah, mommy fell on your place to protect me."

"If you're angry, just kill me! Please don't hurt mommy!"

Delila was in so much pain that her face turned pale and she was drenched in sweat.

"No wonder that little bitch was so well-behaved today, she was planning to kill me and Nora," Delila said as she rubbed her belly hard, as if she had made up her mind.

"The doctor said that fetal reduction is not possible if both the mother and fetus are healthy."

"What if I'm not healthy?"

She knew she was allergic to mangoes, yet she still bought ten boxes of mangoes.

When she ate the first one, I was already having trouble breathing.

I gently touched my mother, my heart aching. I wanted to tell her not to hurt herself.

But Nora, suppressing her excitement, urged her with ill intent.

"Mom, don't eat anymore. Noah seems a bit unwell."

Delila was startled, realizing I had inherited her allergy.

"Dear, don't be so soft-hearted."

"Since that bitch insists on forcing me to choose one, I'm willing to trade her death for your safe birth."

Seeing my mother's resolute self-harm, I completely lost my will to live.

"Mom, stop eating. I'm leaving now."

Her hand, holding the mango, suddenly froze. Though she couldn't hear my thoughts, she seemed to sense them.

It felt as if a piece of my soul had been ripped away.

As luck would have it, Pieter discovered it in time and took his wife to the hospital.

"Her allergy was very severe, but many medications were unsuitable, so she could only receive conservative treatment."

"As for the fetus, if it inherited the allergen, it would have an impact, if not, it's fine."

Delila immediately insisted on checking the baby's heartbeat, saying, "I need to make sure the baby's okay and also check if that wretched thing is dead."

Upon learning that my heartbeat was only weak, she was furious.

"You're such a nasty thing! You still haven't died from all this!" She cursed at me while secretly letting out a sigh of relief.

Little did she know, I had already allowed my sister to devour my internal organs and brain.

Slowly died in the womb.

That night, I said a simple goodbye to my mother in her dream, "Goodbye, Mom."

The moment she saw me dissolve into scattered starlight before her eyes, she suddenly jolted awake from her dream and a tear fell down from her eyes.

"You little bitch, you did this on purpose, didn't you?"

"To make me feel sorry for you, so you could get more nutrients and bully Nora?"

Due to excessive emotions, she went into premature labor.

In the delivery room, the doctor brought Nora to her side and said, "Congratulations, you've had a baby girl."

As if struck by lightning, she was stunned and stammered. "But, Doctor, I-I'm having twins."

"Please do another check, is there still one more baby that hasn't been born yet?

The doctors exchanged glances and instinctively parted to make room.

Soon, she finally saw me lying quietly on the operating table -- only one skin remained after being devoured by my sister.
