I Reborn Not to Forgive, But to Finish It

“Everyone is paying close attention to this matter. Fortunately, Loyd's illness is not serious, but I am worried. Estella was recommended by the former Dean and her vision is never wrong.

“You should find a way to get Loyd out of the hospital as soon as possible. What happens to him after he is discharged has nothing to do with us.”

There was a hint of solemnity in Dean Marsh's words. For some reason, he always felt that things were not that simple.

But he had checked with all the doctors in the hospital and found that Loyd's migraine was indeed caused by a cold.

But could his little girl really be as good as Estella who had decades of clinical experience?

He snorted coldly. This hospital did not need capable people, just people who listened to him.

Bethany's eyes flashed with a hint of darkness as she responded, “Dad, don't worry, Estella is very famous in school.

“I just cannot stand her condescending attitude. If you don't root out the weeds, they will grow again in the spring breeze.”

The purpose was to make a big fuss so that I could no longer be a doctor.

There was a hint of malice in Bethany's eyes. After all, when she was interning in college, many people compared her to me.

The comparison was like sky and ground.

But that time, she wanted to trample me hard under her feet.

When I got home, I packed my things.

However, to my surprise, when I was halfway through packing, Pierre suddenly turned back.

“Estella, you have been free for a while, why do you keep going out? You don't have to work so hard. I can support you.”

After all, no matter how busy I was at work, I would always find time to come back and take good care of him.

But that time, I seldom go home. Every day I either spend time in the library or in the university laboratory.

Men were such an animal who could not be ignored, so did Pierre.

I looked at Pierre and said lightly, “During this period of time, I plan to move back to the school laboratory.”

“Estella, I've already told you that Bethany is our junior schoolmate, why are you thinking so much?” Pierre explained with pleading eyes, “Sometimes she's too busy, so I help her see a few patients. You know Bethany is not as good as you."

I looked at him as I gave him an analogy, “This society truly is a place where the strong and those with power are always seen as right, no matter how wrong they are, isn’t it?

“Pierre, let's break up. Bethany is too weak to take care of herself. She needs you more than I do!”

In my previous life, Pierre and I wanted to get married. I devoted myself to my work and family, but he was adamant and refused to get married.

Until I died, Bethany said that she would take care of him in my place. It was natural for the scumbag and the bitch to be together.

Later I found out that Pierre stayed by my side just to squeeze in at the critical moment and let me become a stepping stone for Bethany to become the gold medal doctor.

Being with me was also arranged by Dean Marsh.

When he saw that I refused to collude with them, he wanted to get rid of me. It was like a snake that could not be warmed up, ready to bite me back at any time.

Seeing me dragging the suitcase resolutely, even if he said all the nice things, I still refused to give in.

“Aren't you blaming me for helping Bethany take care of the patients?” he argued. “It was you who misjudged the patient. Bethany and I were cleaning up the mess for you.

“Estella, I did not expect not only you to be ungrateful, but you're also confusing right and wrong?”

I looked at him with a half-smile as I questioned, “Don't you know who is not a good doctor and who is confusing right and wrong?”

Pierre looked at me, his face full of dissatisfaction with me.

“Estella, you know we are both medical workers!”
