I Reborn Not to Forgive, But to Finish It

 After graduating with a Ph.D., I stayed in the hospital and became the most authoritative Neurologist in the hospital.

Terry Morales from the same village as me had a son with a brain tumor and asked me to perform surgery on him.

In order to save his life, I performed surgery on him against the clock.

However, the next day, Terry insisted on not being hospitalized and wanted to take the child home.

The bumpy car ride caused the child's cerebral blood vessels to rupture and he died on the spot.

The patient's family lost their minds, found me coming down from the operating table and stabbed me in the head with a knife.

I sank into the darkness unwillingly and when I opened my eyes again, I returned to the day when I diagnosed Terry's son.

Faced with Terry who was clamoring to change doctors, I readily agreed.

“Estella, what nonsense are you talking about? How old is my son? He can eat and sleep well, how come he has a tumor?”

“What a joke! If there's a cut on the head, the person will die, right?”

“Estella, we are all from the same village. We cannot make money from such dirty tricks.”

The woman in front of me was dark and fat and she looked at me with a shrewd calculation in her eyes.

I looked at her, disbelief flashed across my eyes and the feeling of my head being pierced seemed to have happened just a second ago.

‘Strange, I remember I was dead?’ I wondered in my heart.

“Auntie, don't get excited,” Selly Ivonne, the intern, said, “Take your child to get checked out. Dr. Estella is the most authoritative neurologist in our hospital. 

“She was specially recruited from a university by the former Dean of our hospital. They are among the best in the domestic field."

She tried to persuade her, but Terry pushed her towards me.

“Don't think I don't know that you guys are looking for kickbacks. The cost of the inspection alone is several hundred! 

“The cost is not that high at all. We need to change doctors!”

I looked at Terry who was filled with indignation and a hint of coldness flashed across my eyes.

She was holding a fat boy in her arms while staring at me and Selly with wide eyes. The man next to him looked at his phone silently with a sullen face.

I realized that I was born again.

In my previous life, it was this couple in front of me who caused my tragedy.

After graduating with a Ph.D., I was invited to the hospital of my mentor's friend.
