Chapter 1 of Husband’s corgi bore a golden retriever. I’m divorcing.
My husband found a dog-walking partner, a beautiful neighbor, and we make appointments to walk the dog together every day without fail.
When I found out that my Corgi was pregnant and gave birth to a Golden Retriever not long after, I filed for divorce.
"You want to divorce me?"
My husband was shocked. “Just because the Corgi gave birth to a Golden Retriever?”
I nodded, "Yes!"
Daniel Carter and I have been married for ten years, and everyone is certain that we will grow old together.
Even he thought I loved him terribly. My father broke one of my legs before I agreed to divorce him.
But now, I'm tired.
"Sophia Williams, I think you have too much to do and have too many good days."
Daniel sneered and stood up:
"Since you insist on leaving, I will satisfy you!"
Daniel slammed the door and left.
But I know that just 5 minutes ago, his dog-walking partner named "Peach" sent me a text message:
"Daniel, my Golden Retriever is in heat again, please bring the little Corgi over here."
……
The moment the door was slammed shut, self-mockery filled my eyes.
In heat.
How could it be just a dog?
The humming of a Golden Retriever cub came to my ears.
I hesitated for two seconds, stood up and took a photo of the little Golden Retriever, and then posted a message in the Neighborhood Exchange Group:
"A little Golden Retriever, just a few months old, looking for adoption."
After sending it, I went to bed. I don’t know how long after, the door was suddenly kicked open.
Daniel angrily pulled me up.
"Sophia, are you sick?"
"How long has the little Golden Retriever been born? If you don't want to keep it, I can keep it. Why do you want to give it away for adoption?"
"Did you get my consent?"
I suddenly laughed.
I remember Daniel said those high-sounding words to me in person two months ago when he found out that our Corgi had given birth to a Golden Retriever.
"Sophia, we are the parents of little Corgi, and we must be responsible for the child's marriage."
"Besides, didn't you like Golden Retriever before?"
"Chloe's big Golden Retriever happened to be very beautiful, so the two dogs became a pair, and our dogs' union makes us an extended family."
Chloe Taylor is the dog-walking partner and the beautiful neighbor who just moved in half a year ago.
He was so eager to breed the Corgi with Chloe's Golden Retriever.
But I forgot that I mentioned it several times before.
I want to breed the Corgi at home and have a little Corgi.
But Daniel refused to agree.
"I've already made an appointment with my dog-walking partner to breed her Golden Retriever. Maybe we can get a little Golden Retriever. How cute!"
"And she also likes the little Corgi and has been talking about it in my ear for a long time."
I silently watched his eyes sparkle when he mentioned Chloe.
I listened in silence as he mentioned Chloe more and more frequently, to the point that the gaps in our lives had been occupied by her without us even realizing it.
Seeing Daniel angry at this moment, I calmly glanced at his messy buttons.
"If I hadn't sent that adoption message, you might have slept at her place tonight?"
Or maybe.
Already asleep.
I can’t imagine in what kind of situation a man would need to unbutton his shirt in public?
The answer is self-evident.
Daniel's face flashed with panic for a moment, and he quickly explained to me: "Don't get me wrong."
"I was playing with Golden Retriever while feeding the dog and accidentally got my shirt wet."
"I just took it off to dry, don't think too much about it."
My eyes fell on the suspicious red mark on his neck again.
