He Said Cesarean Scar is His Shame

“Miss Daisy! How dare you hit someone in front of me?!” G. David shouted, holding Gwen Gwe protectively in his arms.

Looking at this man, I felt nothing but strangeness.

“G. David… Do you have any shame left? I went through hell to give birth, and you’re up here doing this? Aren’t you afraid of karma?!”

I screamed, my head spinning from the pain in my stomach, where the cesarean wound throbbed like a knife was stabbing me.

“Miss Daisy, you’re wrong. Childbirth is hardest on men. They’ve been holding back for so long—how could they not deserve some care?” Gwen Gwe said, climbing onto G. David’s neck with a seductive grin.

  G. David agreed, “Look at you—after giving birth, you’ve become a haggard mess. I can’t even stand to look at you. Is it wrong for me to find some relief? Besides, I’m the one paying for this maternity center. What’s wrong with spending my money on services?”

His words brought back memories of when he held me and said he wanted a child to make our family complete.

“Lily… Have a baby for me. I’ll take care of you and the child. You just need to give birth,” he had said.

I never imagined this was how he would “take care” of us.

“I don’t have time for your nonsense… G. David, call 911 now! Benny Daisy can’t breathe! If we don’t act, he’ll die!”

Tears streamed down my face as I felt the baby’s breath growing weaker. His face was red, as if he’d been crying for too long.

How long had that caregiver been with G. David? That’s how long Benny Daisy had been crying, helpless and alone.

I saw a flicker of panic cross G. David’s face as he tried to step forward but was pulled back by Gwen Gwe.

“Mr. David, the baby was just doing some aerobic exercise. It’s good for his health. He’s just asleep now,” she lied with a smirk.

  G. David’s expression relaxed.

“You’re lying! Benny Daisy is suffocating! If we don’t get help, he’ll die!”

Kneeling on the floor, I clutched the baby, my eyes bloodshot.

  “G. David… I beg you, call 911. Benny Daisy is my everything…”

Pain radiated from my heart, making it hard to breathe. I tried to clear the baby’s airway, but I couldn’t manage it.

  “SLAP!”

  G. David struck me across the face. The sting was unbearable.

“Lily! How dare you curse your own child? Are you the caregiver? What do you know? This is good for the baby. If you say another word, I’ll throw you out.”

“Why don’t we play a little game, Mr. David?” Gwen Gwe suggested with a malicious grin. “If Miss Daisy kneels and apologizes, barks like a dog, then we’ll let her take the baby to the hospital.”

To my horror, G. David agreed.

“She’s right! Miss Daisy, if you want to take the baby to the hospital, kneel down and apologize to me. How about that?”

My head spun with anger. I never thought G. David could be so unreasonable. He was arrogant, but today…

“Hurry up! Do you want to leave or not?”

  G. David kicked me impatiently.

  “Fine… I’ll kneel.”

Heartbroken and desperate, I knelt, holding the baby whose face had turned blue.

“I beg you… Please take us to the hospital.”

I thought my pleading might soften them, but they only laughed.

“That’s more like it. Now, bow your head and kowtow.”

“G. David! This is too much!”

As I stood up, pain from my cesarean wound intensified, and blood dripped from my stomach.
