He Said Cesarean Scar is His Shame

“Good heavens, Mr. David! Look at that!”

Gwen Gwe’s face was etched with terror and fear, and she shrunk into G. David’s embrace.

“It’s so strange… her stomach is bleeding. I’ve heard that if a woman who has just given birth does that kind of thing, her wounds will reopen and bleed… Could it be that Miss Daisy…”

  Gwen Gwe’s implications were clear.

“Gwen Gwe! You’re talking nonsense! I’ve been at the postpartum care center the whole time, where could I have gone? Take me to the hospital now!”

I was too weak to argue with them. All I wanted was to save my baby, who was now barely breathing.

  “Stop right there!”

  G. David grabbed my wrist tightly, his eyes red with anger as he interrogated me.

“How could you betray me? Tell me, who is that man? Lily, you have no shame, yet you pretend to be modest with me! You let another man touch you but won’t let me! Have you no shame!”

  G. David’s face was twisted in a monstrous rage, like a the terrifying demon.

“G. David! Don’t you know who I am? You’d rather believe her than me!”

My heart felt like it was being torn apart, piece by piece, suffocating me.

“You still dare to argue with me when the evidence is clear? Let me check you!”

  G. David lifted my clothes, but he froze when he saw my stomach.

Because my stomach did have a reopened wound, with blood dripping down drop by drop.

“How disgusting, it’s like orange peel, all wrinkled.”

Gwen Gwe wrinkled her nose in disgust.

“Indeed, a woman who has given birth is no good, a complete yellow-faced hag. Mr. David, come to me more often, I’ll give you a half-price discount.”

Gwen Gwe threw a flirty glance at G. David, draping herself over his shoulder.

I thought G. David would feel pain, would regret.

  But I was wrong.

He showed the same expression and gaze as Gwen Gwe, pushing me away harshly as if I were something filthy.

“That orange-peel stomach of hers is truly disgusting. Any man who would touch her must be desperate. I really regret marrying her, how could her body become like this.”

His unexpected words were like a heavy blow to my chest, making it hard for me to breathe.

“G. David… what did you just say?”

“I said you’re disgusting. If I had known you would become like this after giving birth, I never would have married you. You’re ugly and stingy.”

  G. David clicked his tongue, hugging Gwen Gwe tightly, planting a kiss on her face.

I felt nauseous, as if something was rising from my stomach.

  “Okay… I’m disgusting.”

My heart was dead, the blood from my stomach still dripping, but all I wanted was to save my child. Before I could step out, G. David yanked me back.

“Lily! Didn’t you kneel before leaving!”

  G. David snatched the child from me and pushed me hard, causing me to scream in pain as my wound was torn.

  Blood spilled everywhere.

But G. David still looked disgusted.

  “G. David! I really misjudged you…”

My heart ached so much I could barely breathe, but looking at the child in his arms, I knelt down and kowtowed, over and over, until my head was bleeding.

“I beg you… take me to the hospital, please take me to the hospital.”

I cried out, blood streaming down my forehead.

“You’re really disgusting to look at.”

I heard G. David say coldly.
