Chapter 1 of Divorcing My Mate Who Still Loves His Childhood Sweetheart
Six years of marriage gave me nothing but a nightmare and welcoming a new woman everyday at our den’s doorstep.
The look of their disdain and smuged face always showed me my place in this pack.
After being banished by Clay Moon Pack, I held Vincent’s hand who was a respectful Alpha of Claw Fresh Pack but it was a dark deal which I drawn upon myself.
“Seventy ninth time.” I mumbled when I watched a white wolf with her fluffy hair, blue eyes and slim body entered inside the den and merched to Vincent's room.
She, Zara, the most beautiful and delicate Omega in this pack and Vincent’s childhood sweetheart, ignored me like a plague.
Each time Vincent caressed another women, he made sure I could see everything and today was no exception.
Behind the transperant curtains, their skin slapping session was visible to me.
The way Vincent’s powerful arms grabbed her waist, moving and stroking her whole body to give her the best feelings and shiver, surged the lump on my chest harder. Surprisingly, I couldn't cry anymore. Looking at the full moon, only a bitter smile painted on my lips.
I didn't remember how long they went ahead but when I was about to head back to my room, Zara stepped outside.
Smirk on her face, this time, wider. The smell of their hot intimacy was still lingering around her. Wearing Vincent’s favourite white shirt, she established her superiority over me.
“So you are the woman Vincent keeps.” She laughs, flaunting the reddish brown hickeys around her neck.
She flopped her hair and twisted her mouth, “Bella, look at your vulnerable body, I couldn't even think if they function well.”
When she laughed, the innocence in her vanished as she leaned in and whispered, “Vincent doesn't even stare your kind of women.”
“Giving you a piece of advice, why don't you strip yourself and offer to him.”
The disgust inside my heart was growing when Vincent’s hands grabbed Zara’s waist and planted a small kiss on her neck, “What are you doing here?”
Zara’s feigning innocence was back, “I am trying to get along with her. After all she is the Luna.”
“Don't care about her.” Vincent’s dismissive grunt was full of affection as he tapped her nose like a child.
Their laughter echoed on my ear, flashing the hell I had been caged in.
I quickly retreated my room, opening the wardrobe, I got the divorce paper which’s age is also six years old.
“Just one more month.” I told myself, after that I would be free from this cage.
This nightmarish marriage was nothing but a contract which was about to end.
_ _ _
Since I slept late last night, I could only wake up before lunch when there was loud bang on my door.
“Why are you all of a sudden?” Seeing Vincent frowning harder gave me chills.
“What's wrong with you, Bella?” He growled, “If you are sleeping like a log, then who will cook the lunch?”
Yes, it was always me who prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner.
But now that I made a decision to leave from here, so who cared.
“Vincent, you can do it by yourself.” Folding my hands around chest, for the first time I raised my voice against him, “Or call your housekeeper.”
“You are acting childish again.” Gritting his teeth, he forced me against the wall and whispered, “Bella, don't forget you are the pet I keep.”
‘Pet?’ this word replayed on my mind several times. After all these years of hardwork, efforts were only for being a pet?
“Vincent, even a pet has its last day.” I lowered my head and spoke up.
“Huh?” He scorned, “What's your new act again?”
“Bella, do you think I will forbade you from leaving this house.” He rubbed his forehead, “Bella, don't forget who feeds you.”
“If it weren't for me, you would have rotten on the street.”
“I will prepare the lunch.” I clenched my fists and left. His words still cut my heart like a sharp knife.
“Bella, you will regret this.” He was about to say something more, when Zara entered, showing her fluffy white tail to Vincent and asked cutely to caress it for her.
Caressing tail of your partner was showing how much one loved them.
Her way of showing off tickled my youth when I wanted to live a life like this too but choosing the wrong man only came bad luck to me.
“Bella, you are throwing tantrum again?” She sneered, “Grow up, you are thirty nor thirteen.”
“If you are so capable then why couldn't you climb on Vincent’s bed after all these years?”
“Look at your dry and wrinkled face, no one accept you anyway.” Shrugging her shoulders she cutely leaned on Vincent’s lips for a kiss.
He lowered his face to fulfil her wish, “Zara, don't bother about her.”
The same warm tone! He never used this tone while talking to Bella before.
I sighed and headed hurriedly into the kitchen, ignoring their cliche drama as much as I could.
While I was still thinking what to cook for lunch, someone took a cucumber from the basket.
“Why have you been off?”
He asked, the frown on his face didn't give away the same worry which he had for Zara.
“Nothing.” I washed the vegetables and checked our distance, “We are about to divorce each other soon.”
Vincent laughed louder, as if I told the funniest joke of the year before gripping my hands tightly.
“Bella, why are you so eager to leave?” He pressed my chin and leaned closer, “Tell me the truth, did you get another man who wants to fulfil your needs?”
