Wife Turned Me into Coma, I Married My Secretary Instead

My wife had someone crash into me, leaving me in a coma, just to help her male assistant start a business.

When I woke up, I found out she had transferred our company’s clients to him.

Many of our employees had been poached, our core technology leaked and the company was on the brink of collapse.

“Amari, you’re finally awake!”

“The company’s about to go bankrupt. Let’s get a divorce.”

When my secretary brought me to our new product launch event, I saw her holding the arm of a strange man, smiling sweetly as she asked for a divorce.

Right in front of me, the man grabbed her butt and sneered, “Your wife is mine now and so are your company’s assets. What’s the point of a loser like you still being alive?”

Burning with rage, I shouted, “You two are disgusting! You’ll both rot in hell!”

Later, my wife ended up on the streets, begging, full of regret, with nothing left.

One month after the car accident, thanks to my secretary’s careful care, I finally woke up and recovered.

In a low voice, I asked where Madison was.

Leila Clinton hesitated. When I lost my temper, she had no choice but to speak quietly, informing me that the company was about to go bankrupt.

I couldn’t believe it. The company had been doing well. Our products were solid and we made hundreds of millions each year. How could we be bankrupt?

After her explanation, I finally understood that my wife, Madison Sutherland, had planned the accident to help her assistant, Orion Alcott, start his own business.

She not only let him copy our products but also introduced him to our clients and helped him steal key employees.

Upon hearing this, I was furious. Leila quickly tried to calm me down and told me not to get too worked up. Then she said she would take me to find Madison.

“Mr. Wood.”

“Mr. Wood is finally here!”

That afternoon, I arrived at the company’s product launch event.

In the once-thriving company that used to have hundreds of employees, only a few remained.

Madison, who used to be the vice president, was also at the event.

Her assistant, Orion, sat in the main seat, holding her in his arms. The two of them kissed openly, without shame.

Seeing that scene felt like a knife to the heart. Our eight-year relationship was being torn apart right in front of me.

When Madison saw me, she froze. “Why are you here? You’re awake?”

Realizing how inappropriate it looked to be sitting on Orion’s lap, she quickly stood up, her face turning red. I snapped in rage. “Slut!”

In the past month, Madison had only visited me twice before leaving me to rot in the hospital.

She even stopped paying my medical bills.

Leila had used all her savings and maxed out her credit cards just to keep me alive. Without her care, I would’ve never woken up.

“Amari, since you already know, I won’t hide it anymore.”

Madison sat back down on Orion’s lap. He bounced his leg under her like she weighed nothing and sneered, “President Wood, I heard you’re about to go bankrupt?”

Their shameless behavior made many people turn away in disgust.

“Don’t you think you’ve gone too far?”

“Mr. Wood just woke up and you’re already trying to drive him to the edge?”

Leila clutched my chest anxiously and shouted. The doctor had warned us not to let me get too emotional.

Seeing that their scheme had been exposed, Madison’s face turned cold. “Someone beat this stinking bitch up for me!”

Before I could react, three security guards rushed forward and slapped Leila several times.

She burst into tears. I quickly shielded her and roared, “You traitorous bastards!”

The guards looked at me with mockery. “Mr. Wood, your company’s going under and you still want to act like a hero?”
