The Three Brothers Used Me, So I Burned Them to Hell Summary
Chapter 1 of The Three Brothers Used Me, So I Burned Them to Hell
I never thought my own husband would use me like that.
Julius Wattson, the man who always avoided touching me, suddenly turned into a monster in bed every night when the lights were off. Five days. Five nights. No protection. No mercy. I could barely stand when it finally ended. I was stupid enough to think he wanted a family with me. I even held that pregnancy test like it was some kind of miracle.
I went to his office to tell him. I wanted him to be proud of me, just once in my life.
But before I even opened the door, I heard them laughing. Julius. Andrei. Jonas. The fraternal triplets born into one of the strongest mafia families in the city. The Wattson. Men feared everywhere else, but inside that lounge they were just cruel boys playing a sick game.
Violet Scott sat between them. His childhood sweetheart. His first love and mistress. Their favorite toy. Her voice was sweet, but every word cut like a knife.
“You three spoil me too much. I only asked one thing. I wanted to see whose baby Lara would end up carrying. But you guys were pretty harsh on her during those five days. Think she’ll panic when she finds out the father is a mystery?”
Julius laughed like he was proud of it. “Panic? She should thank us, right bro? You should’ve seen how happy she looked, thinking I finally wanted a kid.”
Andrei said, “To be honest, Lara is really hot! Fuck. You are the only man crazy enough to share your wife with your brothers, Julius.”
Jonas snorted and slapped the table. “Come on. Let’s bet on who got her pregnant. Losers buy jewelry and island for Violet at the auction. Minimum three hundred million.”
Violet watched them argue like it was a show meant for her. She looked toward the blinds and smirked at me. Like she knew I was there. Like she planned all of this.
“Julius, what if Lara finds out the baby is not yours?” she asked with fake concern.
He shrugged. “Then we say she cheated. Even if she knew the truth, she wouldn’t dare open her mouth.”
Then he pulled out a stack of photos. Laid them on the table like trophies.
Andrei whistled. “Shiit yeah! Her face is clear. If people see these, she’s done.”
Jonas said, “These look like those nasty photos. She looks like a desperate little slut.”
Violet picked one up, glanced at it with disgust, and flicked it away. The photo slid right under the door and landed at my feet.
My whole body went cold. Like someone unplugged my soul.
I picked the photo up with shaking hands. I hid it in my sleeve. I tried to pretend I still had some dignity left. But tears kept falling. I could not stop them.
Julius never wanted me. His grandfather forced him to marry me. All these years, he barely spoke to me, let alone touched me. So when he finally came to me that night, I thought he cared. I knew there was something in the wine, but I still drank it. I wanted to believe him. I wanted to be loved.
For five days, I let myself hope. I let myself pretend. I responded to him because I wanted a child and I wanted him.
I didn’t even know when one of his brothers took his place. I didn’t know when the camera flashed. I didn’t know anything. I was just a toy they passed around because Violet wanted to see what would happen.
I ran out of the building like something was chasing me. People looked at me, but all I saw in their eyes was the image from those photos. I felt naked. Shamed. Ruined.
I covered my head and ran. Every step hurts. Every breath felt like glass. A few minutes on the street felt like a lifetime.
I had never felt so broken in my life.
When I got home, I didn’t even take off my shoes. I went straight to the shredder and shoved that photo over and over. I watched it disappear in tiny strips. If it were possible, I would have shredded myself too.
The door slammed hard behind me. I jumped like someone fired a gun. I turned and saw Julius standing there, shaking off his coat like nothing in our world was broken.
“Did you get your period this month?” he asked casually, like he was asking what I ate for lunch.
I stared at him. “W… what?”
He laughed, low and smooth, leaning closer like he was trying to charm me. “Babe, it was five straight days and it's been five weeks already. I know what I’m capable of. Come on. Let’s get you checked at the hospital.”
He didn’t even let me reply. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me toward the garage.
I sat in the passenger seat in a fog, staring at nothing. He sighed like he was dealing with a child and reached over to buckle my seatbelt.
I grabbed his hand without thinking. “We’re checking if I’m pregnant? Julius… Do you actually want a baby with me?”
For a second, he softened his expression. He rubbed my head gently, as if he was my loving husband instead of the man who destroyed me.
“Of course I do,” he said. “A girl like you. A boy like me. If possible, I wanted triplets too. That would be perfect, right?”
If I hadn’t heard him, Andrei, and Jonas laughing about me at the company, I might have believed him. That was the worst part. He was good at pretending.
When we got to the hospital, Violet was already there. And the brothers. Andrei and Jonas. The three mafia princes of the Wattson family. They leaned against the wall like they owned the whole building. Their eyes were full of hidden laughter.
Andrei gave me a slow look from head to toe. Jonas smirked. It made my stomach twist.
“They heard you might be pregnant. They wanted to congratulate you.” Julius pulled me behind him.
The blood test didn’t take long. The result was exactly what I already knew.
I was pregnant.
Julius held the report like it was a bomb and he was calculating how to use it. His face was impossible to read. Violet, though, looked annoyed, like the result ruined her day.
Then Julius lifted his gaze to the doctor. “Can we do a paternity test right now?”
