The Richest Man’s Real Daughter Returns! Summary

When her ultra-wealthy biological parents track her down to a rural farm, she is literally feeding pigs. Instead of an emotional reunion, she presents them with three strict conditions: they must fund her higher education, financially compensate the adoptive parents who raised her, and take her side in any future clashes with their other daughter. Once they agree, she departs without a second thought. For her, parental affection is fleeting and easily divided, but the power of her own mind is permanent.

Chapter 1 of The Richest Man’s Real Daughter Returns!

When my biological parents came to pick me up, I was feeding the pigs.

They looked like they were very wealthy.

I asked them three questions.

If I become your daughter, will you support me in my studies

Will you compensate my parents who raised me

If I have conflicts with your daughter in the future, will you stand by me

After receiving affirmative answers, I went with them without hesitation.

It didn't matter to me if they loved me or not; what mattered was that they could provide me with a better education.

After all, parental love can be divided, but the knowledge in my head is entirely my own.

1

Shortly after I was born, my mom found me half-dead in the snow and took me home, naming me Kayla.

From a young age, I knew I was not my parents' biological child. My parents had reported it to the police and left DNA and contact information.

So, I wasn't surprised when my biological parents came for me.

The reason they waited twelve years to find me was that my biological mom didn't know the child she was raising wasn't her own.

A month ago, my biological mom took her daughter Lucy Stone for a checkup and discovered Lucy's blood type didn't match. After a paternity test, she found out the child might have been switched.

She immediately reported it to the police, and through the record of my parents' report back then, they matched the DNA and found me in the mountains.

However, my adoptive mother had no connection with my biological mom and had never given birth to a daughter. Lucy wasn't my adoptive mother's child.

My biological father said immediately that finding their daughter was enough. As for Lucy, they didn't know who her parents were, and since they had raised her for twelve years, they would continue to do so.

From the mountains to a grand mansion, I was deeply shocked.

As soon as I entered, Lucy, wearing a beautiful princess dress I had never seen before, handed me a half-worn doll.

Sister, I'm sorry. It's all my fault for taking your identity for over ten years. Please don't blame me. This doll is my favorite, and I'm giving it to you. I hope you like it.

Seeing that I didn't respond, Lucy started crying, Boo-hoo, Daddy, Sister won't take my doll. Does Sister not like Lucy Does she want to drive Lucy away

My dad quickly hugged the aggrieved Lucy and comforted her, Lucy, don't think like that. You'll always be Daddy's treasure, and no one can drive you away.

I clearly saw Lucy didn't shed a single tear and even raised her chin at me proudly.

When Lucy cried, my mom felt sorry for her too.

She stuffed the half-worn doll into my hands, Kay, look how much Lucy likes you and even gives you a gift. How can you make your sister cry

I didn't say a word. If she likes to pretend to cry, that's not my concern. I handed the doll back to her.

Also, may I know where I will be staying

I felt no waves in my heart towards their obvious favoritism since we weren't familiar with each other.

Besides, didn't my heart also favor my adoptive parents

If it weren't for the fact that my adoptive father needed a lot of money for his broken leg and my brother needed money for school, I wouldn't have so readily gone with my wealthy biological parents.

Now that I was gone, unable to help with the housework, my adoptive mother would have to work even harder...
