She scans my identity files and hands me my schedule, my student card, and the key to my locker was presented to me. Additionally, the card included the combination to my locker. I open it up to have a look at what the rest of the day will bring. When I learned that they trained every single day, my stomach did a complete flip.
I wasn't sure whether my mother knew or not that the students also trained.
"Each week, we devote two hours to classroom instruction and one hour to hands-on wolf training. "
I won't be able to hide here for more than a day before others see me don't have a wolf and force me to go. I'm not sure whether I'll be able to skip the first week or not.
After thanking her, I went to my locker.
When the proper code was entered, the door swung open. The other students were staring at the new student with mild interest, but happily none was being rude.
After placing my belongings into my locker, I go to get my books. It caught me off guard when a girl's eyes locked into mine as I was shutting the door to my locker. Her short black hair, nose ring, and heavy eye makeup set her apart.
"Greetings, and welcome. " She grabs my agenda after introducing herself as "Ella."
"Ah, Katrina."
"Our curriculum is quite uniform. If you're interested in coming along, I can show you around. "Seemingly, she was kind.
I tell her that idea sounds great.
"You're apparently part of Alpha Nkosi's pack, "she continues. That rumor has already been spread it.
"Beta Mathew and Alpha Antony were having a conversation, and you must have Beta DNA." She grins.
"I was shocked to hear that Alpha Mathew had approved a transfer, since he clearly despises Alpha Nkosi. Your parents must have high status. No new pupils have enrolled in the previous many years," she says, stopping at an opened classroom door. Mr. Swift, our English teacher, is a kind person. "
I saw that, in contrast to the classes I had seen during my previous Pack, the students in this one were carrying on quiet conversations while they awaited the arrival of their instructor. I was really shocked by how polite everyone was, especially after my past experience with guys in my previous Pack.
I join Ella at the table she's currently at. She gets a lot of young people talking together to look at her.
"Hey," She says, smiling brightly, her smile was contagious.
"That lot over there are nerds; they won't do anything but study," indicating a group of students who are quietly conversing between themselves. You should maintain a safe distance from such community. The ugliest blonde female is Nina. Keep away from her as far as you can. " Ella tells me.
As a new student, I was not singled out by the instructor, which was a relief. While Ella and I were eating, the students and teachers were getting the training fields ready. Seeing my mom and Alpha Antony approach the field made me feel sick to my stomach.
"Does our Alpha often help students train? " I ask Ella
"If not in meetings, he is here every day to teach us something new." Nina is sprinting across the field and clinging to the Alpha like a leech.
That Nina likes the Alpha is a fact that can't be ignored. Just like Ella predicted, "She appears to think she will be his mate." For some reason, seeing her so close to him always made me nervous, but I tried to suppress those feelings. Since it's plausible that Nina is as nasty as Ella portrays her to be, I refrained from questioning her.

Alpha Antony's focus shifts to us. When the lunchtime chime finally rings, I return to the locker area to change into our training clothes with Ella. We hurriedly changed and walked over to the prepared ovals training court.
"You want to see how they train, Katrina? "I agree and nod my head.
Alpha Antony encourages me to come sit with him in the stands so we can watch together. I have been watching everyone at the gym. On several times, Alpha gives assistance and provides feedback. But when he comes back, he mocks me. "What are your impressions of school so far?"
Even though I'm uncomfortable in his presence, I manage to reassure him everything is OK. My mom's worried looks at me just made me more nervous about him. "I'm curious as to how often you work out with your mom. "
"My mother doesn't want me to miss training," I tell him. His head nods to indicate his agreement.
"Good, so you may rest today and tomorrow, but on Monday you'll join the rest of the team in training". As I glance up, Nina is standing just in front of me, staring at me intently.
"You, Nina, need to give your attention to training. Get back on the field," Antony yells at her.
Meowing at him, she murmured, "I was merely checking whether you can come and help me, alpha." She clearly cares for him and wants to be with him. After giving me the narrowed-eye treatment, she walks away calmly. I knew from the moment we met that she would make my life a living misery.
"Well, I had to go back out there, Katrina, I'll see you around." He remarked as he stormed toward my mother, who was reprimanding Nina for leaving the field.
My mother insists that I return home immediately after the end of the school day. When she realizes I'm coming closer, she takes my arm and quickly pulls me away from the onlookers.
"Katrina, you have a remarkable ability to stand out and be noticed by the Alpha when it would be in your best interest to remain inconspicuous. Avoid him and his Beta at all costs. " Mom admonishes.
