She And The Past, Scattered Like Shooting Stars

“When we have a baby, we will sit under the starry sky and tell her our love story that is as happy and sweet as the stars.”

The light from stars could travel across billions of light years, but our love could not withstand the test of time, even if Ellen's eyes were full of visions for the future.

I read the message sent by my tutor with cold eyes.

[Student Logan, congratulations on being accepted by the Northwest Research Group. We will set off tomorrow at noon. Please read the above content carefully. When you formally sign the confidentiality agreement, your current identity information will be cancelled and no one will be able to find this person within three years.]

I signed my name without thinking. Three years did not matter to me.

Even in the next ten or twenty years, I wanted to completely disappear from Ellen's world.

In my life, until I died, I would never come back.

Ellen could choose to leave me and run to Felipe.

I could also choose to leave her and run towards the vast grassland.

My tutor told me to pack my luggage as soon as possible.

But when I looked at the villa full of memories, I did not want to take anything away.

I got up early, so I gave the maid a day off and spent two hours making breakfast by myself.

After Ellen got up, she immediately rushed to me and snatched the spatula from my hand.

“Hubby, how can I let you cook? Take a rest. Today is your birthday and I want to spend it alone with you.”

Ellen was stunned for a moment and her eyes turned red with emotion.

“After you became disabled, you became extremely sensitive to smells. You would vomit violently when you smelled cooking fumes. Even if you need to cook, it should be me who does it.

“My dear, go sit on the sofa. Let me do everything today. My biggest birthday wish is that my husband can be happy every day.”

If there were no photos sent by Felipe, that moment could make me feel that I was the happiest person in the world.

What a pity.

I sighed silently and handed Ellen's phone to her. “There's a message.”

Ellen was a little nervous, but when she saw my uncertain expression, she breathed a sigh of relief.

“My husband is the best. He never checks my phone.”

She thought I was too great, but also too stupid and foolish.

Last night, I went through every record and message on her phone after she fell asleep.

She relied on my trust in her and clearly put Felipe on the top.

The purchase history contains endless varieties of underwear and toys, not to mention hotels, companies, cars.

Either on my birthday or our wedding anniversary, as long as Felipe said a word, Ellen would arrive on time for the appointment.

What impressed me most was the message that Ellen sent to Felipe on the day I recovered.

“Don't use condoms anymore. I want to have a baby as soon as possible. You satisfy me the most. As long as you don't make trouble in front of Logan, I can let you get everything you want."

Ellen really liked children, so even if the child was born with another man, she did not care.

I dared not recall the heart-wrenching pain of last night. So, I tried to remain calm, even if my hands kept shaking.

I was afraid that Ellen would notice something was wrong with me, but her mind was completely on her phone.

“Today is the day for your reexamination results. The hospital reminded me to take you there early. So, I'll go there first and you can rest at home and wait for me to come back.”

I directly asked, “Will you come back?”

Ellen smiled and touched my head. “What nonsense! Today is such an important day, I just want to spend it with the one I love most.”

I sighed. “Remember to open your presents when you come back.”
