Accused of Treason, I Returned as the Daughter of King Alpha

Helena

Samuel checked the pendant again. He couldn’t believe I had it. And when the truth revealed that it really belonged to Ironshade, his eyes immediately turned to me.

I was about to explain, but

Samuel’s hard slap came first.

Pain spread across my cheek. It was hot. My head turned to the side. My body, still weak, staggered backward. Hitting the wall.

“Besides siding with the enemy, it turns out you were also trying to infiltrate the Ironshade pack?” His accusations disgust me. “How cunning. It turns out you’ve been hiding a lot from me. You must have thought you could destroy the Silver Moon pack?”

Liora immediately interrupted. “Of course you can’t. It’s pitiful that she’s willing to become an Ironshade whore wolf just to join their pack.”

“I thought she was hiding something important,” Beta Kaylen said with a sneer. “Turns out she wasn’t. She’s probably just an omega whore wolf from the Ironshade pack. Not worth wasting time on.”

My jaw tightened. Since the Ironshade pack is so powerful, they must think I’m not really part of them!

“Are you done?” I asked with a straight face.

They fell silent.

I took a step forward. One step was enough to make Kaylen unconsciously take a step back.

"I am the daughter of King Alpha, the Ironshade Pack. I am not begging for recognition, I am warning you. Whatever you are laughing at today will be the beginning of your end."

For a moment, silence crept in. The wind seemed to stop.

But only for three seconds. After that, laughter filled the hall.

Elder Elira clutched her stomach. “You? Ironshade? Don’t tell me you’ll claim to be the moon goddess descending to Earth next!”

Liora elbowed Samuel while laughing loudly. “Look at me, I’m Helena Ironshade, the Alpha king’s daughter, but I've been banished from the pack!”

Samuel approached, bending down to my bruised face. “Even if this pendant is real, you must have stolen it while prostituting yourself there. That makes more sense than claiming to be royal blood.”

“It’s real. And the truth remains the same. I am the daughter of King Alpha!" I shouted.

Samuel’s disgusted gaze was evident. “If you’re really the Alpha king’s daughter, why were you sent here? Do you think we’re stupid? They must have abandoned you. Just like me. You really don’t want to stop embarrassing yourself.”

Beta Kaylen’s laughter followed, low and mocking. “Now, you can leave our pack. I don’t need your oath anymore; I don't think you’ll be able to do anything that threatens the silver moon. You might even die after this, abandoned by the enemy pack.”

“Stop wasting our time on this useless nonsense,” Samuel said, looking down on me as he threw my black pendant onto the floor and stomped on it hard.

Their footsteps began to move.

As I watched the pendant shatter, my anger boiled over.

My hands clenched tightly, my nails digging into my flesh. “Samuel, you’re celebrating your victory too soon. After this, you’ll forget your dream of becoming Alpha tomorrow!"

Samuel’s footsteps stopped. But he didn’t turn around at all.

“Why did you stop?” I asked with a cynical laugh. “Or is that just a way of showing how afraid you are of reality?”

Samuel turned around. His eyes were almost filled with anger, but Liora quickly held his hand. She stroked it gently.

“There’s no need to waste your energy. Every wolf knows she’s just making things up. She doesn’t have the slightest power to destroy you, so just calm down," Liora said confidently.

Samuel nodded in agreement. He called the guards. “Drag him out of here now!”

They left me in the long, empty corridor. I was dragged out. Blood dried at the corner of my lips, my shoulders tense, holding back the burning sensation in my chest.

Two guards threw me out the gate. As they entered, I immediately activated the mindlink.

After connecting, I took a slow breath, then spoke in a cold, vengeful voice. “This is Helena Ironshade. I’m ready to return. And I want to destroy Samuel before the Alpha Silver Moon pack’s inauguration ceremony begins tomorrow.”

I closed the mindlink immediately. The cold air around me filled my lungs, like welcoming a rebirth.

Samuel, because you have no compassion, I will not grant you forgiveness. You will learn to crawl beneath the ruins you have built with your own hands!
