I couldn't figure it out, and I didn't want to think about it.

"Come in," His deep and powerful voice came out.
I walked in. It was all dark in his office. I looked up to find him. The scattered lights in the night sprinkled on the person standing in front of the French window, with a unique charm, his back still so handsome.
"Where have you been all these years?"
I was stunned for a moment, obviously not expecting him to ask so directly. I didn't know how to answer yet, and then I heard his deep voice again, "I just heard that your family is no longer rich. How does it feel to live a poor life for a few years?"
How could I not hear his sarcasm? You always have to pay for what you've done in this world.
He used to listen to me obediently and follow my orders.
