My husband's False Love Made Me Paralyzed

I looked at the man who helped me, his eyes looked very familiar to me. And to my surprise, he knew my name.

"Are you crazy? You want to end your life?" he asked. However, I remained silent. I was still trying to remember who he was.

"Daisy, what's wrong with you?" he asked, shaking my shoulder.

I snapped out of my reverie. "Who are you?" I mumbled.

"I'm Vincent," he replied.

I was shocked when I remembered that name. He was Vincent, someone who once loved me. He had repeatedly told me he loved me, but I kept rejecting him.

"Vincent, please help me sit in that wheelchair!" I said.

Vincent nodded, he helped me. Now I was sitting in the wheelchair.

"What's wrong with you? Why are you like this? Are you okay?" Vincent asked gently.

I cried at Vincent's concern. I told him what happened in my family. Starting from Dalbert's lies and crimes that caused me to be paralyzed and unable to have children anymore. Vincent hugged me, trying to calm me down.

"You bastard, Dalbert. I've always disliked seeing you with him. But you love him so much," Vincent said with an annoyed look.

"I know, Vincent, I'm so stupid," I replied tearfully.

"You have to pay him back, Daisy. So what do you want to do now, Daisy?" asked Vincent, taking my hand.

"I'm going to divorce Dalbert, and after that I don't know what I'm going to do. I won't have a place to live, I won't have a job," I replied tearfully.

"Haven't you been an actress for a very long time? Where did all your wealth go?" Vincent asked.

"I gave all my property to Dalbert. When we got married, we made an agreement that my property would be put together with his. He would manage everything as the head of the household. But I realized that I had been fooled. I'm so broken, I don't deserve to live in this world anymore," I replied, patting my tight chest.

"Don't hurt yourself, Daisy. You're not stupid; you're a good woman. They are the ones who have been mean to you. If you're willing, after you divorce Dalbert. You can temporarily stay at my house until you find a place to live!"

"Are your words true? What about your wife?" I asked, feeling awkward about living with Vincent.

"My words are true, there's no need to be afraid. I'm not married, and I don't have a girlfriend yet," Vincent replied.

I nodded, and Vincent drove me home. Tonight I'm going to end my relationship with Dalbert, I'm going to write off all my life that has anything to do with him.

I get off at the red light near my house. I ask Vincent to wait for me at a little distance from my house. I was afraid that people would find out about my departure. I wanted to disappear like the earth.

"Are you sure you're going alone?" asked Vincent, who had helped me to sit in the wheelchair.

"I'm sure," I replied with a nod.

"Alright, I'll wait for you here! If anything happens, please call me!" Vincent said.

I left after saying goodbye to Vincent. I arrived at the gate of my luxurious house. The gate opened, and I was surprised to see a crowd inside. Dalbert and Gloria greeted me.

"What's going on?" I asked them both.

I saw Gloria holding my baby with a beaming face.

"Welcome to the welcome party for Sean, our baby. Where have you been?" Dalbert asked me.

I paused as I heard everyone flattering Dalbert.

"See how lucky Mrs. Daisy is, Mr. Dalbert loves her very much."

"Mr. Dalbert is very loyal, if I were him, I would probably leave Lady Daisy and find another woman. What's the point of having such a useless wife?"

I clenched my fists, they spoke well of Dalbert. They all had no idea how mean Dalbert was to me. Dalbert's attention and demeanor at this party were all lies.

I looked at my mother-in-law, she was staring at me intently. Her flat, dour face looks unhappy when I arrive.

"Here's your baby, Daisy. Thank you for letting me hold him," Gloria said, handing the baby to me.

I take it, Dalbert pushes my wheelchair to get into the party. And just like that, the party to welcome my first baby was over.

During the party, Dalbert and Gloria were busy greeting their important guests. Dalbert ignored me, I looked like a maid with my ordinary-looking clothes, while Gloria was wearing a fancy dress.

It all looked like it was intentional, they wanted to see me humiliated.

"How are you, Daisy?" said Gloria, who was suddenly standing next to me.

I gave her a flat look.

"You crazy woman, take this child of yours. I'm not willing to look after your handicapped child!" I said angrily, handing Gloria the baby I had been looking after.

"Damn it, you're insulting my child," Gloria said, slapping my face.

I wanted to slap her back, but I couldn't stand up, so I picked up the glass containing the drink and poured it over her.

"That's payback for you, Gloria!" I said angrily.

"You're already paralyzed but still so arrogant. See if you're useful now? Who wants to live with you? You'll just be a burden to everyone, Daisy. Even if you become a bitch, no man would want to sleep with a paralyzed woman like you!" Gloria said with emphasis.

She seemed to be getting on my nerves. Gloria smiled slyly, she picked up a knife that was on the table. She cut her finger, making me roll my eyes.

"What are you doing, Gloria?" I asked in surprise.

"You'll see what happens," Gloria replied, and she suddenly fell to the floor. Then she put the baby on the floor.

"Why are you doing all this, Daisy? I'm sorry for making you jealous!" Gloria shouted, making my heart beat faster.

Everyone who was busy dancing earlier gathered around when they heard Gloria scream. So did Dalbert and my mother-in-law.

"Gloria, what's wrong with your fingers, and what's wrong with my baby on the floor?" asked Dalbert in surprise and picked up the baby. Gloria's watermelon was helped by my mother-in-law.

Gloria was crying so hard that I was confused and scared.

"Who did all this?" asked Dalbert with a flushed face.

"Sorry, Daisy. I had to tell Dalbert about my bad behavior," Gloria told me. "Daisy did it, Dalbert. She hurt my hand because she was jealous that I was holding the baby," Gloria said again, causing Dalbert to slap my cheek.

My cheeks felt so hot, Dalbert looked so angry with me.

"I didn't do it, Dalbert," I said irritably.

"Don't lie, Daisy, if you don't like me carrying your baby, just say so. Don't hurt my finger, you almost hurt your baby, he fell on the floor," Gloria said, which made my temper rise as I heard everyone talking about me as a bad woman.

"Dalbert You can't trust her, she insulted me, Dalbert. She said I was crippled and useless," I replied, looking hatefully at Gloria.

"I did talk like that, but it was all because Daisy insulted me first. She said that I couldn't give birth properly. She even said that I was bad luck, that every time I gave birth, my child would die," Gloria said, twisting the facts.

I was shocked, Gloria was really a crazy woman. She had the sympathy of many people, including my husband.

Dalbert hit me hard in the face. He had hurt me physically and mentally.

"Hurry up and apologize, Daisy, I'm ashamed to be your husband!" Dalbert said to me.

I shook my head, I wasn't wrong. I didn't want to apologize. But I was surprised when Dalbert kicked my wheelchair, and I fell. Dalbert handed the baby to my mother-in-law.

Meanwhile, my mother-in-law stepped forward and stepped on my fingers.

I winced in pain.

"This is because you dared to hurt Gloria, she is a good woman while you are a rotten woman!" my mother-in-law said as she held the baby.

And suddenly I was shocked to see Dalbert pick up a knife and start cutting my finger.

"I have to be fair, even though you're my wife, you've hurt someone else. I'm sorry, Daisy, that I did this," Dalbert said to me.

My finger had so many scratches, I tried with all my might to get back into the wheelchair. I left the party clutching my injured fingers.

I am now in Vincent's car. From Vincent's cell phone, I watched a shocked Dalbert as his bodyguard told him the bad news.

"Mr. Dalbert, I'm sorry Mrs. Daisy is missing. And I found these divorce papers!" said one of his bodyguards as he handed him a divorce certificate.
