He dragged me out:
"Go to the city hall right now and I'm going to divorce you immediately!"
In the city hall, Ryan had a gloomy face the whole time.
My son and I were kicked out of our home. When the stamp fell, he sneered:
"Go away, don't let me see you and that bastard again."
On the way back to the hospital, the richest man contacted me again and said that he had arrived in Seabreeze City and would be able to see me soon.
After telling him I was in the hospital, I returned to the ward with joy, and the nurse came running over in panic:
"Ms. Anderson, your son is missing!"
The surveillance footage showed a man taking Leo away, and his back looked very much like Ryan.
Thinking of Ryan's insults to my son, I immediately called him.
He refused to answer.
It wasn't until the 20th call that he answered and cursed:
"Lily, you and I are already divorced. If you keep pestering me, do you believe I will kill that bastard?"
The phone was hung up and could never be reached again.
I took a taxi straight to my former home.
After entering the password and opening the door, an ambiguous voice came from the master bedroom.
I felt cold all over and walked towards the master bedroom step by step.
The door was ajar, Ryan and Scarlett were entangled on our wedding bed, and in the corner was our shattered wedding photo.
I kicked the door open:
"Ryan, where did you take Leo?"
The two separated in panic.
Ryan pulled the quilt over Scarlett and yelled at me:
"Lily, are you crazy? What do I need that bastard for?"
"Who else but you!"
"I have fulfilled your wish and will not bother you again. Please return my son to me..."
"Neuropathy!"
Ryan denied it.
I took out the hospital surveillance footage and asked him where he had hidden Leo, but he didn't even look at it and stood up to kick me out.
Scarlett suddenly screamed:
"Ryan, watch this video!"
She raised her phone and saw on the screen a woman with a blurred back, entering and leaving the hotel with different men.
The angle of the shot was tricky, but the clothes the women were wearing were the same as mine.
"Lily, no wonder you lost your baby."
"So you were so lonely that you went out to look for a man?"
Scarlett glanced at my dropped phone and deliberately stepped on the screen:
"Maybe your son was taken away by his biological father. Why are you looking for my husband instead of him?"
"For your sake, we did several DNA test reports and didn't ask you to pay for the child support and mental damages over the years. You still have the nerve to come to our door. Do you really think Ryan will be blackmailed by you for the rest of his life because of your life-saving grace?"
Her face was full of anger, and she changed her tone:
"You don't even know who the father of the child is, do you?"
Ryan's face turned pale and he kicked me in the stomach.
I slammed into the wall, the pain making my vision go black.
"Ryan, forget it, don't dirty your hands for a bitch..."
Scarlett wrapped herself in a bathrobe and pretended to help me up, but she whispered in my ear:
"If you dare to snatch my man again, I will make sure you never see your son again."
After saying that, she suddenly screamed and fell backwards.
Ryan rushed over and hugged her, then kicked me down the stairs:
"Bitch, how dare you push Scarlett? You're asking for death!"
Scarlett's eyes flashed with pride, she covered her belly with tears in her eyes:
"Honey, I'm fine..."
Just then, the hospital suddenly informed me that Leo had been found.
I was overjoyed and rushed to the hospital.
Scarlett frowned in pain and shouted:
"Oh, my stomach hurts!"
