Kiara felt her mind ring upon hearing it.
But even more than that, she felt Hugo was insane.
“Hugo, is something wrong with your head? That herb was taken by your people. Now that she lost the baby, what does it have to do with me?!”
Hugo said, “Only you touched that item. Other than you being jealous of the baby in her stomach, I cannot think of anyone else who would hurt her!”
“Kiara, because you cannot have a child yourself, you are jealous that others can, isn’t that so?!”
Kiara kept explaining again and again, “It was not me! Hugo, I no longer love you. Why would I hurt her?”
Hugo gripped Kiara’s throat hard and shouted in anger, “Liar! You obviously love me desperately. Everything you did was because of jealousy!”
“Kiara, you really went too far, you really let me down!”
“One life for one life. Since you dared to harm someone, then go to jail and think about it properly!”
Kiara almost felt like she was hearing things. “You mean you are going to send me to jail?”
“Yes. Everyone has to face the cost of what they have done, and the wrong things they did can only be paid for in prison.”
Hugo did not allow her to speak. He grabbed her collar, pulled her up, and shoved her into the car, then closed the door.
Kiara hit the glass like she had lost control and tried hard to explain, “Hugo, it wasn’t me. It wasn’t me. You did not even investigate. What gives you the right to judge me?!”
“Let me out. I don’t accept this!”
No matter how Kiara cried out or asked for help, nobody answered her.
Until Dorothy came downstairs by herself to meet her.
Kiara said, “Dorothy, I may not like you, but I truly did not hurt your baby!”
Dorothy stood across from her with a bright smile. “Of course, I know you did not harm my baby, because I was never pregnant at all.”
“Anyway, you do not have many good days left, so I will simply tell you the truth.”

Kiara was so angry that she lifted her hand to hit her.

Dorothy immediately leaned into his chest and cried pitifully, “Hugo, my sister not only hurt my baby, but she even tries to hit me.”

Hugo directly told the driver to move the car. No matter how Kiara tried to explain, it made no difference.
Inside the car, Kiara got ready to call her Dad for help, but her cellphone was taken from her by the man next to her and tossed outside. At the same time, the vehicle came to a sudden stop.
A few men pulled Kiara out.
Right away, a bad feeling rose in her, and she stepped back again and again. “What are you going to do?”
The man gave a dirty smile. “Of course, we’re going to have you.”
“Miss Hilton told us that before sending you inside, we can enjoy ourselves first.”
“Ma’am, we’ve guarded you for many years. Truth is, we’ve always liked you. Anyway, sir doesn’t want you anymore, so why not let us play a little?”
Kiara picked up a rock from the ground and threw it at them. She broke down and yelled, “You’re crazy! If Hugo finds out, he won’t spare you!”
Everyone glanced at one another and laughed. “Ma’am, you don’t really think you’re going back, do you? After we’re done, we’ll get you a proper coffin.”
Kiara’s heart turned cold. They were actually planning to kill her!
