Love Is Reversed, You And I Will Never Meet Again

I just curled up in bed and waited for dawn.

When I was half asleep, I heard Rolf coaxing Serena to sleep.

Such a serious person was actually telling the story of the Little Mermaid.

He climbed onto the bed only after I heard the sound of breathing on the other end of the phone, gently stroked my eyebrows and then helped me rub my swollen calves.

His voice was soft.

“Jocelyn, just work hard for a while. It will be over soon.”

I pretended to turn my head unconsciously and my tears fell into the pillow.

Yes, it would be over soon.

When I got up early in the morning, the pillow was already cold.

The pocket of the coat hanging on the side was vibrating all the time.

I thought Rolf forgot to bring his phone to work, so I walked over and took it out.

But I found it was a phone I had never seen him use.

The alarm was set on the calendar.

[Serena is returning to Akso. The flight is...]

The numb vibration almost made me lose my grip on the phone.

The lock screen showed Serena’s sleeping face.

If I had found this phone earlier, I would have entered my own lock screen password.

But now, I just entered Serena’s birthday and unlocked it easily.

The wallpaper was Serena’s graduation photo.

There were tens of thousands of photos of Serena in the album.

Even if it was a waste of photos in the eyes of girls, Rolf was reluctant to delete it.

I swallowed my tears, took a deep breath and adjusted myself before putting the phone back.

The next second, Rolf opened the door.

He cared about me a little unnaturally.

“Did my phone wake you up? Sorry, I have a lot of work recently.”

Then he took the coat and covered the phone without leaving any trace.

Afraid that I would know that it was a spare phone.

I lowered my head and touched my belly.

“It’s because the child is too noisy. Rolf, can you accompany me to the prenatal check-up today?”

Rolf looked embarrassed and came over to kiss my forehead.

“Baby, how about next time?”

I barely pulled the corner of my mouth.

“Okay.”

Rolf, there wouldn’t be a next time.

After Rolf left, I changed my clothes casually and took a taxi away without disturbing the driver.

I knew he wouldn’t agree to accompany me.

I didn’t want him to accompany me in the first place.

Swiping through the address book, I found Keith, who was blacklisted by me.

When I called the tenth times, Keith finally answered impatiently.

“Jocelyn, you still want to pester me after three years? I’m married to Serena! If you hadn’t suddenly returned to the Snider Family to recognize your ancestors, the marriage partner would never have been you…”

I interrupted Keith’s chattering.

“Keith, your wife cheated on you, did you know?”

Keith was silent for a rare time.

“Serena won’t betray me.”

His voice was obscure and he seemed to have thought of something.

I looked at the scenery receding outside the window and wiped away my tears.

I also thought Rolf wouldn’t betray me.

“Check it again, Keith, check it carefully.”

After hanging up the phone, I asked the driver to park the car at the law firm.

I drafted a divorce agreement and went home again.

Until the afternoon, Rolf, who used to work overtime every day, came home on time to pick me up.

It seemed that he was about to get what he wanted and the corners of his mouth were raised intentionally or unintentionally.

The old house of the Davison Family was located halfway up the mountain.

When we arrived, there were already some people.

I had been married for three years, but the Davison Family still didn’t like me.

A few side branches whispered something when they saw me.

“Jocelyn is obviously the real daughter of the Snider Family, but it has been three years and she hasn’t changed her surname to Snider.”
