The office door swung open, and the person who stepped inside was Tatiana, looking pleased and proud.
When she noticed my angry face, her eyes showed clear teasing, yet her lips acted like she was confused.
“Blythe, why are you this upset? Hunter asked me to move into this office. He said sitting next door would make it easier for him to take care of me…”
While speaking, she shyly waved her hand. “Blythe, don’t misunderstand. Hunter said this was meant to help you compensate me.”
I couldn’t hold myself anymore and slapped Tatiana hard across her cheek, sending her falling to the floor.
At that moment, the office door was shoved open, and Hunter showed up at the doorway with an angry look, shouting, “Blythe, what are you doing?!”
He carefully helped Tatiana up from the floor and stared at me angrily.
Tatiana covered her cheek, her eyes turning red as she cried miserably.
“Hunter, I’m alright. Blythe is just too upset.”

I paused for a second. Tomorrow’s patent conference? Wasn’t that patent mine?
