I Died In His Great Love

After five years of preparing for pregnancy, I finally got pregnant after much hardship.

But on the same day, I was diagnosed with advanced gastric cancer.

I was about to tell William the bad news, but I suddenly saw his childhood sweetheart posted an Instagram story.

[On the first day back home, the person I love the most came to pick me up. ]

The picture was a photo of them kissing passionately in bed.

I had a stomach attack on the spot and was admitted to the ICU.

When I woke up again, I desperately called William, but he said impatiently and irritably, “Ellen, why are you so stingy? Sydney finally returned to Mison, don't bother me no matter how big your problem is!”

I smiled bitterly and made an appointment for an abortion.

But later, I died and William saw my diary and he went crazy.

“William, can you come to the hospital to accompany me? I’m pregnant.”

There was silence on the other end of the phone for a few seconds and then William’s sarcastic voice came. “Ellen, you haven’t gotten pregnant for five years after marriage. How come you got pregnant as soon as Sydney returned to Mison? Do you have to use these unpresentable means? I said that Sydney and I are just friends!”

After saying that, William hung up the phone directly.

Even though I had expected it, I still felt heartbroken.

Looking at the bed photo in Sydney’s Instagram story, I silently signed the abortion surgery form.

After the operation, the doctor asked me to contact my family.

But I shook my head with a wry smile and walked back home tremblingly with my sick body.

Since my mother passed away, I had no family.

I thought William would be my support, but I found that I was always alone.

The anesthetic effect wore off and I felt a heart-wrenching pain in my abdomen.

I finally fell asleep, but was woken up by William’s irritable door opening.

“Ellen, can you stop being so suspicious? Sydney just returned to Mison and it doesn’t mean there will be anything between us!”

When he said this, he still had the familiar and disgusting rose scent that belonged to Sydney.

He didn’t notice that my face was too pale because of the miscarriage.

My eyes moved to William’s neck and saw the ambiguous kiss mark.

William froze and was about to explain something, but I got out of bed expressionlessly.

“I know, I’ll go make breakfast.”

My calm attitude made William stunned and he felt a little flustered for some reason.

The next second, I saw my legs soften and fell to the ground.

I happened to break the wishing bottle that Sydney gave him before going abroad and the folded paper stars inside were scattered all over the ground.

William’s face instantly darkened and he said angrily, “Ellen, you did it on purpose! You know this wishing bottle is very important to me! Why do you become a different person as soon as Sydney comes back? You are already old, can you be more sensible?”

William almost slapped me and I pushed him away. But because of this, my leg was left with a hidden disease. Now, after falling like this, I suddenly felt severe pain. But William didn’t care at all, he just blamed me for breaking Sydney’s things. I didn’t say a word, silently picked up the broken glass, but got scratched on my hand.

William sighed helplessl. “Leave it alone, I’ll clean it up. Ellen, I just hope you can be more generous and don’t vent your anger on Sydney.”

Yeah. Every word was for Sydney’s consideration.
