CECELIA'S POV
We sat in comfortable silence while I processed everything. A real mating ceremony, becoming Luna officially, raising Golden together as a family. Three months ago this would have seemed impossible while now it felt inevitable like this was always where we were meant to end up.
"I want more children," I said suddenly while the thought had been building for a while. "Not right away but someday. Golden should
have siblings."
Zeke's arm tightened around me while through the bond I felt his immediate agreement. "How many are we talking?"
"Two or three more maybe?" I suggested while tilting my head to look at him. "Enough that Golden isn't lonely but not so many that we're completely overwhelmed."
"I like that," Zeke said while his hand moved to rest on my stomach like he could already picture me pregnant. "Golden would be a good big brother."
"He would," I agreed while imagining our son helping with a baby. "Though we should probably wait until his wolf emergence situation is more stable before adding another child to the mix."
"Agreed," Zeke said. "But knowing we're planning for it, that we're building a future together, that means everything to me."
We talked late into the night while planning details that felt both exciting and terrifying. Where we'd live long term, how we'd handle pack politics together, what kind of education we wanted for Golden.
The conversation flowed easily while we were finally on the same page about everything.
"I love you," I said when we finally headed inside. "I know I've been holding back from saying it but I do. I love you Zeke."
"I love you too," Zeke replied while stopping to pull me close. "I never stopped loving you even when I was too scared to admit it."

"Good," I said while leaning in to kiss him softly. "Because you're it for me too."
We kissed slowly while savoring these last moments before the chaos of ceremony preparations would pull us apart. Golden was sleeping in his own room now while he'd finally gotten comfortable there after weeks of transition. "Not yet," I said while scooping him up. "We have to get ready first while all the guests arrive."
"But I'm already ready," Golden protested while gesturing at his suit.
"You look very handsome," Zeke said while ruffling Golden's hair. "But mama and I need time to get ready too."
"Why does getting ready take so long?" Golden asked while his face scrunched up with confusion.
"Because grown ups are complicated," I explained while setting him down. "Now go have breakfast with Marcus while we get ready. We'll come get you when it's time."
Golden ran off while his excitement was contagious. Zeke pulled me

staring back. My dress was simple but elegant in cream silk while I'd chosen something that felt meaningful rather than elaborate. My hair was styled in loose waves while minimal makeup let my natural features show through.
"How do you feel?" one of the other females asked while adjusting my dress.
"Happy," I said while meaning it completely. "Three years ago I was terrified walking down the aisle to marry someone who didn't want me. Today I'm excited to choose the man I love."
The females smiled while clearly pleased by my answer. A knock on the door brought Golden bursting in while his face lit up when he saw me.
"Mama, you look like a princess," Golden exclaimed while running over to hug my legs.
"Thank you baby," I said while kneeling down carefully so I wouldn't wrinkle my dress. "Are you ready to walk me down to daddy?"
"Yes," Golden said while bouncing with excitement. "I get to give you away like in the stories."
"That's right," I confirmed while taking his small hand. "You're going to escort me through the grove to where daddy is waiting."
The females left ahead of us while giving me a moment alone with Golden. I looked down at my son while marveling at how much had changed in three months. He was healthy now, happy, thriving with both his parents in his life.
"I love you mama," Golden said while looking up at me with those big eyes.
"I love you too baby," I replied while
my throat getting tight with emotion. "So much."
We walked out of the quarters together while Golden held my hand proudly. The path to the sacred grove was lined with pack members who smiled and nodded as we passed. Unlike the large political affair my first wedding had been,

above all others for the rest of your days?"
Zeke's eyes never left mine while he spoke his vows. "I do," he said while his voice was strong and clear. "Three years ago I spoke these words without meaning them fully. Today I mean every single one. Cecelia, I promise to cherish you and choose you every single day. I promise to be the mate and father our family deserves. I promise to love you with everything I am for the rest of my life."
Tears streamed down my face while I felt the sincerity of his
words through our bond. This was nothing like our first ceremony where he'd spoken coldly while barely looking at me.
"Cecelia," the elder turned to me. "Do you take Zeke as your mate, your partner, your equal? Do you promise to love him, build your future together, and stand beside him through whatever comes?"
"I do," I said while my voice thick with emotion. "I choose you Zeke, freely and completely. I promise to trust you with my heart, to build our family together, and to love you through everything. You are my

The elder smiled while placing his hands over our joined ones. "Then by the power granted to me and witnessed by this pack, I pronounce you officially mated. May your bond be strong, your love be deep, and your family be blessed."
"You may kiss your mate," he added while stepping back.
Zeke pulled me close while his hands cupped my face. "I love you," he whispered before pressing his lips to mine.
The kiss started gentle while quickly deepening as three years of separation and pain were replaced with reunion and hope. The bond between us exploded with light while weaving us together in ways that went beyond the physical. Golden beamed while wrapping his arms around both our necks to pull us into a group hug. The three of us stood there in the sacred grove while pack members clapped and cheered around us.
