He Forced Me to Forgive His Mistress ,Then Found Out it was His Sister Who Had Died.

“If she actually gets buried in the Stephens cemetery, my depression will never get better as long as I live!”

The moment Brent heard it, he pulled her into his arms, all tenderness, then turned a frigid gaze toward the bodyguards standing nearby.

“How does someone who died such a wretched death deserve a place in the Stephens family plot? Haul her off to the crematorium and burn her. Scatter the ashes straight into the sea.”

The words had barely left his mouth before several bodyguards lunged forward and wrenched me away.

My whole back slammed into the coffin, and the pain shot through me from spine to fingertips.

Watching them about to tear the coffin apart, I scrambled up off the ground like something gone mad.

“Brent, you can't treat the dead this way.”

Brent let out a cold snort.

“You already took the blood money for your sister's life, so that life belongs to me now. I can do whatever I want with her body!”

The instant he finished, a bodyguard jammed a blade into the lid and pried the coffin open.

Another reached in and dragged the body out like a piece of trash.

“Ah!”

The moment Tabitha saw the body she shrieked and pitched forward, knocking into the memorial lamp beside her.

The instant the lamp landed on my sister's body, the whole corpse caught fire.

Watching it burn, Tabitha put on a face of pure innocence.

“Mr. Stephens, I didn't mean to. The body just startled me, that's why I knocked into the lamp.”

Brent patted her back to soothe her.

“It's not your fault. Better that it burned, saves us a trip to the crematorium!”

My eyes were bloodshot as I looked at Brent.

“Brent, you'd better not regret a single thing you've done today!”

Brent gave a mocking laugh.

“Your sister's body got burned. What do I have to regret?”

With that, Brent scooped Tabitha up in his arms and stepped over the body in one long stride, walking toward the villa!

I watched his retreating back, both fists clenched.

If he'd only glanced down at the body one more time, he'd have seen that the charred, unrecognizable corpse was his own sister!

After settling the last of the arrangements, I came home exhausted.

The second I pushed the door open, I saw Tabitha leaning against Brent in a cozy, intimate pose, feeding him fruit.

Seeing me back, Tabitha's face twisted with disgust.

“Bella, you've just been touching a dead body. Don't go bringing all that bad luck back with you!”

Brent's gaze raked over me, cold.

“Don't go getting any ideas about burying your family in the Stephens cemetery from now on. Our plot isn't for just anyone!”

I watched the two of them play off each other, then threw a set of divorce papers down in front of him.

“Brent, let's get divorced!”

Brent stared at the papers on the table, stunned for a second, then shot up from his chair, slamming his hand down in humiliated rage.

“Your sister got run over by a car and now you want to divorce me?”

I nodded.

“Yes. Because my sister got run over by a car.”

Brent snorted coldly.

“Bella, everything you have, I gave you. Once you leave me, I'd like to see who in all of Crestport City would want some piece of used goods like you.”

Tabitha stepped forward too, all false sympathy.

“Bella, a housewife like you walks away from Mr. Stephens and you'll really have nothing left. After all, Mr. Stephens is worth over a billion dollars!”

I looked at her and gave a mocking smile.

“Since you like him so much, he's all yours!”

With that, I turned without a moment's hesitation and walked out of that sickening house!
