Before she could finish speaking,Jennie tugged at the necklace,stumbled and fell backward.Matthew immediately forgot everything else and rushed to catch her.
Jennie leaned weakly against Matthew’s chest,pretending to be composed as she said,“Matthew,I’m fine.You should go check on Sonya.She’s been unconscious for so long,I’m afraid…”
As she spoke,she tried to stand up,but she swayed and fell backward again.Matthew furrowed his brows,no longer caring about the necklace and quickly picked up Jennie.
“Forget about Sonya.That woman is tough.she won't die no matter what.She even dared to steal your necklace.I think she's really lost her mind.Let her stay here and soak up some sun to clear her head.”
After saying that,he ignored me,who was lying unconscious on the ground and turned to leave with Jennie in his arms.
When I woke up again,it was getting dark.I tremblingly stood up and walked toward my son’s memorial hall.
Before I could enter,I heard suggestive sounds coming from inside.I stood at the corner,my eyes widening in shock at the scene before me.Jennie’s clothes were half-undone and Matthew was buried in her chest,his eyes unfocused.
“Matthew,I feel so bad.Will you kiss me?If you kiss me,I'll feel much better.Now that Peter has grown up,can we have another baby?”
Upon hearing this,Matthew paused.
“Jennie,although I really want to have another baby with you,this is still a memorial hall.Even if I don't like them,I can't go this far.”
He kissed Jennie's face,his tone indulgent,“Let's wait until we get back,okay?We'll be back soon.”
Jennie disregarded everything and hugged him tightly,her tone seductive,“Matthew,don't you think this is more exciting?I just want to prove how important I am to you.After all,no matter what,Sonya and you were once married and you have a son together.Are you still thinking about them?”
As she spoke,Jennie's tears fell.Matthew was heartbroken and immediately leaned down to kiss away Jennie's tears.
“Alright,I’ll do whatever you want.”
As I watched their increasingly intimate actions,I trembled with anger.My son’s photo was right in front of them.How dare they?How dare they do such a thing here!
I couldn’t take it anymore and burst out.
“You two beasts!”
I grabbed Jennie's neck with a distorted expression.
Jennie and Matthew finally reacted.
The next second,Matthew violently pushed me down and shouted angrily at me,“Sonya!Have you gone mad?Or is the lesson I gave you not enough?How dare you lay a hand on Jennie!”
