Everyone Called Me An Underwear Heroine

She didn’t know that I never hung my clothes on that balcony. That night, Valerie seemed to show off on purpose and posted several WhatsApp status in a row. I raised the corners of my lips and suddenly thought of a good idea.

I opened the 598-person company group chat created by Calvert and asked in it: [Who of you stole my underwear? A total of 15 pairs are missing. I kindly remind you that those are my dog’s underwears. I advise you to stop doing evil.]

I sent it at 12 o’clock in the morning. After sending it, the extremely quiet company work group chat exploded instantly because of my words.

[Boss lady, are you sure? Did you send it to the wrong group?]

[Everyone in our company group is decent. How could we steal underwear?]

[Could you meet a pervert, boss lady?]

[That pervert may be blind and can’t even tell the difference between a dog’s pants, hahaha…]

After the engagement, Calvert asked me to be in his work group chat in advance to be the boss lady in order to show his love for me. His childhood sweetheart, Valerie, also worked as a secretary in his company.

His group of colleagues were more familiar with me because most of them were my neighbors.

When they bought the house, they got the lowest price thanks to me. We lived close to each other, so everyone was equally suspected of stealing underwear.

I didn’t care what they said in the group chat. After all, the purpose of posting messages in the group chat was to make things worse.

Seeing them explode the group chat, I turned off the silent mode on my phone and went to sleep under the covers.

The next day, in order to watch the show, I deliberately went to Calvert’s company. When they saw me coming, everyone was quiet for a moment. Then a burst of discussion broke out.

“Did you see the message in the group chat yesterday? I wonder which ruthless person dared to steal the boss lady’s underwear. Our boss lady is really brave. She directly confronted in the group chat. Whoever stole it should return it quickly.”

“Don’t talk nonsense. Do we look like people who can’t afford underwear? How could we steal it?”

“Who is so useless that he would steal something like underwear and let the boss lady not find out?”

Someone came up to me and whispered out of kindness, “Carly, could it be that you are being targeted by some gangster pervert?”

I smiled and turned my head subconsciously to look at Valerie in a miniskirt. She was hiding in the tearoom. When people were embarrassed or guilty, they pretended to be in a hurry.

I deliberately raised my voice, “Alas, who knows? That pervert doesn’t even know how to steal. He thought he stole mine, but in fact, they were all underwears I prepared for my dog.”

Valerie paused and soon came over with an ugly face and pointed at me.

“Carly, we are all decent people. Why are you so disgusting? This is a company, a public place. You keep calling me a panty thief, don’t you feel ashamed?”

As soon as she finished speaking, the friends behind her who were on good terms with each other also echoed.

“That’s right! Who would steal your panties? Carly, you are a rich girl. Can you not be so vulgar and not presentable?”

“Everyone knows that those who come to work in our company are either rich or noble and they are not short of money at all. Who needs your used panties? You keep calling me a panty thief. You are still the boss’ wife. Aren’t you afraid of embarrassing our General Manager Calvert?”

As soon as the voice fell, the scene fell silent. Everyone looked toward the door of the office and I was no exception. Calvert kept pushing the door and when he noticed everyone’s gaze, he coughed awkwardly.
