"Mom, the ten-year agreement is almost over. Can you finally tell me where Gregory is?" Laura Mitchell, the former Luna of the Mitchell Pack, hesitated on the other end before letting out a sigh. "Maisie, after all these years, you still haven’t let him go? I thought with Cayden in your life, you might have moved on from the past." Maisie Robertson, the former Luna of the Mitchell Pack, forced a bitter smile. How could she let go of such a profound love? Gregory Scott, a Gamma warrior from the Scott Pack, had been her mate in every way but the bond. His untimely death had left a void that even her arranged marriage to Quinn Mitchell, the Alpha of the Mitchell Pack, couldn’t fill. "Mom, we agreed on this a long time ago..." Noticing Maisie’s resolve, Laura decided not to push further. "Gregory’s ashes are buried in the Alps, near the border of the Scott Pack’s territory." Finally receiving the information she’d longed for, Maisie felt a flood of joy, her excitement evident. "Thank you, Mom." Laura added, "Have you talked to the Alpha about it?" Thinking of Quinn’s indifferent attitude, she chuckled softly.

Chapter 1 of Claimed by the Alpha’s Lies

"Mom, the ten-year agreement is almost over. Can you finally tell me where Gregory is?"

Laura Mitchell, the former Luna of the Mitchell Pack, hesitated on the other end before letting out a sigh. "Maisie, after all these years, you still haven’t let him go? I thought with Cayden in your life, you might have moved on from the past."

Maisie Robertson, the former Luna of the Mitchell Pack, forced a bitter smile.

"Mom, we agreed on this a long time ago..."

Noticing Maisie’s resolve, Laura decided not to push further. "Gregory’s ashes are buried in the Alps, near the border of the Scott Pack’s territory."

Finally receiving the information she’d longed for, Maisie felt a flood of joy, her excitement evident. "Thank you, Mom."

Laura added, "Have you talked to the Alpha about it?"

Thinking of Quinn’s indifferent attitude, she chuckled softly. "He’ll be alright with it."

After hanging up, Maisie clutched her phone tightly. As she tried to calm herself, the bedroom door swung open, and Quinn stumbled in, reeking of alcohol.

Maisie helped him to bed, tending to him as a dutiful Luna might, even though the mate bond between them had long since faded.

Quinn opened his bleary eyes to see Maisie. He leaned in to kiss her.

But Maisie turned away, saying, "Tonight’s not the night for that."

Her words halted Quinn’s advances. "Sorry, I drank too much and lost control."

Maisie shook her head politely, helped him change into clean clothes, and lay down beside him. Despite ten years of marriage, their bond was only surface-deep.

They each held someone else in their hearts; Quinn was in love with his stepsister, Kairi Weaver, a rogue werewolf, while Maisie loved Gregory. Unfortunately, pack politics and the Moon Goddess’s will had torn them apart.

Gregory’s untimely death had been a cruel blow, and she hadn’t even gotten to see him one last time before her father, Osiris Vasquez, the Alpha of the Vasquez Pack, pushed her into marrying Quinn.

Laura had promised the location of Gregory’s grave if Maisie agreed to a ten-year contract, during which she was supposed to provide an heir for the Mitchell Pack.

With the birth of Cayden, Maisie’s obligation was essentially fulfilled. The couple established clear boundaries, living separate lives but still physically attached.

Now, Maisie was finally released from her duties. In the dark of night, she wept tears of relief. She had waited so long for this day.

Her joy kept her restless all night. Early the next morning, she prepared to meet with a lawyer to discuss the dissolution of their mate bond.

When she came downstairs, she found Quinn and Cayden getting ready to leave.

Quinn looked surprised. "Maisie, are you going somewhere today?"

She nodded. "Yes, the agreement is ending, so I’m meeting with a lawyer."

Maisie hadn’t planned to keep the dissolution a secret from Quinn. After all, he wasn’t thrilled about their strained bond either.

But as soon as she spoke, Cayden impatiently chimed in, "Dad, why are you talking to her? Aunt Kairi is waiting for us outside. Let’s go!"

From start to finish, her son didn’t even glance at her.

She was used to it. Father and son often spent pack gatherings with Kairi.

They seemed more like a family together than she did with them.

Quinn acknowledged Cayden’s comment and walked out, leaving Maisie standing there.

His attitude made it clear he didn’t care either.

Dissolving a mate bond between two prominent packs required careful handling.

The lawyer, initially surprised by Maisie’s decision, quickly resumed professionalism. Yet when he heard Maisie’s terms—that she wanted nothing from the Mitchell Pack and didn’t want custody of Cayden—he couldn’t help but confirm, "Ms. Robertson, are you sure? Young Cayden is still a pup and without a mother..."

To outsiders, Maisie seemed the perfect Luna. People often spoke of how lucky the Mitchell Pack was to have her. Yet here she was, ready to dissolve the bond, even willing to leave her own son.

Maisie’s gaze wavered. "I’m sure. Just proceed."

Once, she had felt some sympathy for Cayden, but his heart was set on Kairi being his true mother.

Maisie no longer wanted him either.

After the arrangements with the lawyer were finalized, night had fallen.

The dissolution papers were finally drafted. "Luna, once the Alpha signs, the process can begin. You’ll have your dissolution certificate in a month."

Maisie held the contract, her emotions in turmoil.

Finally, she could face Gregory with a clear conscience.

Returning home late at night, Maisie opened the door and interrupted the cheerful laughter inside.

Cayden turned to her, annoyed. "Bad mom, where were you? Aunt Kairi came over, and she felt unwelcome without you. She was upset for a long time. You should apologize!"

Seeing Cayden’s face, so similar to Quinn’s, twisted Maisie’s heart with bitterness.

The preference of father and son for Kairi had reached absurd levels.

"She’s been here before. My absence just makes your pack gatherings more convenient, doesn’t it?"

Cayden paused, momentarily thrown, but dismissed Maisie’s comment and coldly instructed, "Aunt Kairi is staying over tonight. I’ve promised her your room. You need to sleep somewhere else."

Alpha's Affair, Luna's Wrath
Alpha's Affair, Luna's Wrath
I tapped my pencil against the edge of my sketchpad, staring at the half-finished design for the ceremonial necklace I planned to surprise Marcus with for our fifth anniversary. The silver and moonstone piece would symbolize our enduring bond—five perfect years as Alpha and Luna of the Silverstone Pack. "What do you think, Lyra?" I whispered to my wolf, who purred contentedly in my mind. *Beautiful, like all your creations, Victoria.* My inner wolf had always been my greatest supporter, even before Marcus. I smiled, setting down my pencil and stretching my arms above my head. The afternoon sun streamed through the windows of our shared study, casting a warm glow over the polished oak desk. Marcus had left his tablet behind this morning in his rush to handle what he'd called an "urgent pack matter." I reached for it, thinking I could review some of the anniversary celebration plans we'd been discussing. We'd granted each other access to our devices years ago—a symbol of trust between mates. The screen lit up at my touch, revealing a messaging app I rarely used. A notification blinked insistently in the corner—from Amber Rodriguez, our new pack coordinator.

Betrayed by My Alpha Mate

The bass from the karaoke bar pulsed through my chest like a second heartbeat, each thump making my temples throb. I watched Lucca laughing with his pack brothers, his arm slung casually over Delta Marcus's shoulder as they belted out some terrible rendition of an old pack anthem. The crowd was a sea of familiar faces from Silvermoon, all here to celebrate our territory's founding anniversary. I'd been smiling for two hours straight, playing the perfect Luna-to-be, but the noise was finally winning. 'I need some air,' I murmured to Mira, who nodded with understanding before turning back to her own conversation. The cool night air hit my face like a blessing as I slipped through the bar's side door. Silvermoon territory at night was beautiful—the trees rustled gently, and moonlight painted everything in silver and shadow. I took a deep breath, letting Selene, my wolf, stretch contentedly within me. For just a moment, I could pretend I was alone with the night sky. Then I heard Lucca's voice.
He Married Me Just for Money
He Married Me Just for Money
“Don’t stop,” she whispered. “She won’t come up.” I did. I stopped breathing. Thinking. Existing. The voice came from inside my bedroom—our bedroom. My sanctuary. I stood frozen in the hallway, dinner still warm downstairs, candles flickering in a room that no longer mattered. The scent of truffle butter still clung to my sleeves. Through the door—left carelessly ajar—I saw enough. A woman with auburn hair and wine-colored nails was curled into my husband's side, her lipstick smeared across his throat like a bruise. Her fingers skimmed down his back, possessive, practiced. Oliver moaned softly. A sound I hadn’t heard in months. I didn’t scream. I didn’t cry. I turned. Through the adjoining bathroom, I slipped into the walk-in closet, hiding behind the luxury he insisted I needed. Dresses lined in neat rows. Shoes in pyramids. A fortress of silk and leather and betrayal. I sat down, gripping the hem of my dress, listening. “I don’t know why you’re still stalling,” Lily said, her voice languid and confident. “She’s not stupid, Oliver. She’s suspicious. You said she keeps asking questions.” He sighed. “Let her ask. She won’t do anything. Not until it’s too late.” A beat. “She’s planning something tonight,” he added, almost amused. “Made some kind of fancy dinner. Probably filet again. It’s sweet, in a tragic way.” Lily giggled. “You think she’s figured out we’ve been using her?” “Scarlett sees what she wants to see. She’s desperate. That’s what makes it easy.” There was movement on the bed. Sheets shifting. “She still has no idea about the inheritance?” Lily murmured. “None,” he said. “Her father’s trust releases next month. Once the money hits the accounts, I’ll serve the papers. I’ve already started moving things offshore.” My throat closed. I bit the inside of my cheek so hard I tasted blood. So this was what I got from our five-year marriage.
Luna Walking Away: Defying the Alpha’s Cruelty
Luna Walking Away: Defying the Alpha’s Cruelty
"A toast," Eden declared as servants began distributing crystal glasses filled with deep red wine. "To new beginnings." My stomach clenched as a server approached me with a tray. I started to shake my head—everyone in the pack knew of my severe allergy to alcohol. It had been documented since I became Luna; Eden himself had always ensured non-alcoholic alternatives were available at every gathering. But before I could decline, Eden was suddenly before me, taking a glass from the tray himself. His eyes, once warm amber pools I could drown in, were now cold and distant as he extended the wine toward me. "Surely our former Luna will join us in celebrating this momentous occasion," he said, loud enough for nearby pack members to hear. His emphasis on "former" cut through me like a blade. "Eden," I whispered, my voice barely audible even to werewolf ears. "You know I can't—" "Drink," he commanded, his Alpha tone washing over me like a physical force. "Honor our new Luna. Your new Luna."
