Leon sat down and looked carefully at Julianne.He noticed that she had lost a lot of weight.Her lips were pale and dry.
Compared to Silvana,Leon remembered how she looked healthy and rosy before leaving.Meanwhile,the current Julianne looked extremely weak.
“Jullie,I’ll order some chicken soup.It's good for your recovery.”
Leon quickly took out his phone,as if doing this could make up for his guilt.
To his surprise,Julianne refused coldly.“No need.I’m allergic to chicken.I can’t drink the soup.”
They had been married for five years,but Leon still didn’t remember what she was allergic to.
The air in the room became instantly awkward.Leon laughed nervously.“Then I’ll order beef soup.Sorry,my tongue just slipped!”
Julianne said nothing in response.
Seeing that things seemed to calm down,Tiana cleared her throat and prepared to leave.“Leon,remember what you once said.Take good care of Jullie.She just lost her baby.Don’t hurt her again,understand?”
Leon nodded.“Don’t worry about it.”
After everything that happened,Leon also felt uncomfortable.
On one hand,he knew he had wronged Julianne and their dead child.He wanted to make it up to her.
On the other hand,he felt even more attached to Silvana.In his mind,that woman was willing to jump off a building just to stay with him.In his heart,the balance still leaned toward Silvana.

“Jullie,I’m here.I’m not going anywhere.If you want anything,just tell me.”
Julianne didn't give much reaction.The reason was because Silvana just sent her a message:

Julianne had never won against Silvana in Leon’s heart.
Sure enough,when the beef soup delivery had just arrived,Silvana walked in with a crutch.

Leon immediately felt a headache.Julianne was a clean freak.She would not share that soup with Silvana.
“If you want some,I’ll order another one for you.Don’t take hers,”he said.
Jealousy flashed in Silvana’s eyes.Then,she walked closer to Julianne.“Then let me feed you,Jullie.”
Silvana opened the bag and held the spoon toward Julianne.
At first,Julianne frowned,but she decided to play along.Suddenly,Silvana intentionally shook her hand and spilled the hot soup all over her own hand.The soup was still very hot.Silvana screamed in pain.Red blisters quickly appeared on her fair skin.
Anyone could see Silvana did it on purpose.But in Leon’s eyes,it was Julianne who had pushed Silvana's hand away.
Leon stood up angrily.“Enough!Why did you do that to her?I thought you had changed,but you were just looking for a chance to hurt Silvie again!”
Leon thought Julianne would explain or argue like before.But this time,Julianne was surprisingly calm.
She said,“First,I didn’t even touch her.She spilled the soup on her own.Second,if you want to defend her without caring about the truth,then go ahead.You don’t need to force a fake reason.”
Leon’s anger disappeared at once.He hesitated.“T-that’s not what I meant…”
However,Silvana started crying first.“Lee,it really hurts…”
Leon had no choice but to pick her up and take her to the doctor.
