Beauty Faded During Pregnancy, My Husband Turned to His Ex

Juna gave a small grin before finally following Orland to go outside. It made me a little relieved even though I was still scared.

Until the next day, Orland didn't come back to my hospital room. He disappeared without a word. When I was afraid that he would come, I instinctively called him but he always ignored my calls.

Tonight, the doctor said I could go home. The doctor said that I have to be careful not to fall, as it could be dangerous even though I am only 3 months pregnant.

"Hello?" I was so excited when Orland picked up my phone after being ignored dozens of times. I was already out of the hospital, standing in a fairly deserted parking lot. I wanted Orland to drive me home because it was late.

"I'm busy and you're calling dozens of times. I'll turn off the phone if it's not important." Orland spoke lazily.

I bit my lip to hold back the tears. I've always known Orland doesn't like to be disturbed when he's working. "You're working, aren't you? I.... want to go home. I've been discharged from the hospital. Can you drive me, or... if you're busy you can have a private driver drive me."

"Oliv? Since when did you become so spoiled? You can call your own driver or take a taxi. I'm really busy."

"Yes, I can. But I thought you would drive me." I refrained from shouting. Was driving me home such a hassle? "If you're really busy I'll understand. I'll call the driver-"

My speech stopped when I heard another voice on the phone.

"Orland?"

"What's wrong, are you hungry? Want me to feed you?"

"Later. Is that Oliv? She looks like needs you. You can come home to take care of her."

"No, Oliv is fine at home. Do you need anything?"

"I just want an apple, can you help me peel it?"

I stare blankly ahead with tears falling. Orland said he was busy, I thought he was working, but it turned out they were spending time together.

"Orland?" I called out shakily.

Orland, however, ignored me and was too focused on Emma over there. "Apples? Fine, I'll do it for you."

I could even hear Orland's voice turning soft as he spoke to Emma.

"Orland?" I called out again, but was ignored again. Until I finally shouted in frustration. "ORLAND!"

"Why are you yelling, idiot? The cell phone was pressed against my ear. I almost got a knife in my hand because of your yelling. I'm busy and don't call me again!"

The call was disconnected.

I sobbed. I wanted to throw the phone to the ground. But I remembered that I had to call the private driver. Holding my breath, I called the private driver to pick me up. I should have done this from the start, instead of relying on Orland.

Before the call was connected, I heard a voice from behind me.

"I looked all over the room for you. Apparently you went out, huh?"

It was Juna. I immediately turned my head with a glare. The man grinned again and again. I was scared.

"Don't come any closer!" But he approached with long strides. I spontaneously backed away, panicked and ran to hide. Juna must have wanted to harm me again, though I had no idea why the man would want to kill me.

"Hello, Mrs. Emendash? Do you need a pickup?"

I was busy running fast. My voice was shaking. "Bobby, call Orland and tell him I'm in danger. Juna is after me!"

"Alright... alright Mrs. Emendash."

I looked back, Juna was behind me, quite far away. I think he's deliberately slowing down. And that only scares me more.

I hid behind a big tree. It was dark and I was shaking.

"Mrs. Emendash? Are you okay?" Bobby's voice made me panic, afraid Juna would hear my voice. I immediately turned off the phone. A message from Bobby appeared.

[I've contacted Mr. Orland. He said you like to create drama and he doesn't want to be contacted anymore. He also told me to ignore you. But Mrs. Emendash, I'm really worried about you. Can you send me your address now, I'm going there.]

I growled angrily and crumpled my own phone. Orland is too much! Before I could send Bobby the address, I heard Juna's voice again.

"Olivia, don't play around...."

My heart skipped a beat. I couldn't think of anything but getting out of my hiding place and running further and further away. As I look back to check on Juna's presence, I unknowingly trip over a rock. I'm dragged quite far.

My stomach hurt, more than I could ever imagine.

"Help! Help!" I saw Juna getting closer. My gaze shifted to the thick liquid flowing down my leg. I was glaring and hysterical. "Bleeding! No! I can't have a miscarriage!"
