Daniella silently released her grip on the car door and took two steps back. "You all go ahead," she said. "I remember there's something left in the house." Daniella turned and walked away, her steps deliberate. Only after the roar of the Alpha's luxury car engine faded into the distance did Daniella turn around.
The parking lot was empty, only dust swirling around and two silent tears falling from her eyes. Upon Daniella's arrival at Uncle Jeremy's house, the uncle did not miss asking about her condition. "Daniella, how is your leg? Has it healed? You shouldn't have come here in a wounded state like yesterday."
"Alpha Darren really has no heart, does he? He didn't let you rest for just a few days?" Zane walked out of Uncle Jerremy's house with a book in her hand. Bennedict was also there, and as Daniella's friend, they felt disappointed with the Alpha's behavior towards his future Luna. Maybe they also realized that something was wrong with Daniella and Alpha Darren's relationship.
Daniella just smiled, responding kindly to their concerns. It seems they all need to stop worrying about the Alpha's attitude towards Daniella, because the Alpha has chosen Camilla, and all ties with Daniella have ended. Without thinking twice, Daniella immediately asked Uncle Jerremy to talk privately inside the house.
When Daniella handed over the agreement signed by Alpha Darren, Uncle Jerremy didn't ask anything further and signed in the place where the distributor was supposed to sign. "Alright, everyone has signed. Your departure must be prepared immediately. I just hope you're okay over there." Daniella nodded, her heart finally feeling lighter even though the thought of what it would be like if she stayed there with the shadow of Alpha Darren haunting her lingered.
After leaving Uncle Jerremy's house, Daniella immediately returned home to pack. Three years with Alpha Darren didn't give her many belongings. Only a few things could Daniella take, and the small suitcase she packed was barely filled, containing only a few thin clothes.
"Daniella, why did you come home so early today?" As Daniella placed her suitcase near the living room door, she heard the sound of the door opening. It was Alpha Darren and Camilla, Camilla carrying several shopping bags that Daniella was sure Alpha Darren must have bought for her.
"Daniella, I didn't expect you to come home early. I forgot to buy some gifts for you too," said Camilla, smiling apologetically. Alpha Darren, who was standing next to her, looked a bit awkward. He cleared his throat before speaking.
"Daniella, the season has changed. Let's go shopping tomorrow and buy some new clothes for you too." Daniella smiled and politely declined. She has to leave the next day. She couldn't let trivial matters like that delay her opportunity to leave.
"No need," she said.
"As long as you both are happy, don't worry about me." Her refusal made Alpha frown, and he snorted in annoyance. He decided that from now on, he would ignore Daniella until she crawled back to him, begging for forgiveness. However, he did not realize that this was exactly what Daniella wanted.
Even the next day, when the meeting of the Black Shadow members was held and Daniella attended the meeting, not a single word was spoken to the Alpha, and this did not escape the attention of Beta Collin and Gamma Jack.
In the evening, Zane, who is the healer in the Black Shadow pack, approached Alpha Darren. "Alpha, do you know what happened to Daniella? She hasn't come to Uncle Jeremy's house all day.
