After My Sister’s CEO Husband Humiliated Her, I Ruined Him

“Sandra, you must take care of yourself,” Cassandra heard Grandma Willow's voice so closely in her ears.

When she woke up again, she was already in a hospital room. Clearly she was shocked, yet no one was there in her room.

Hearing the noise from her bed, a nurse walked in. Only then did Cassandra learn that she had been unconscious for three days.

The doctor showed her the medical report and said with serious tone, “Your body was quite injured before. You had an abortion and you were locked in a freezer and almost froze to death.”

The doctor shook her head. “If you keep treating your body like this, something terrible will happen sooner or later.”

Then Cassandra understood. So, her family had twisted the truth and told others that she had locked herself inside. A bitter smile appear on her lips.

At that moment, Oliver suddenly walked in. His face looked anxious. “Sandra, something happened to Grandma Willow.”

Hearing that, Cassandra ripped out the IV needle and struggled to get out of bed. “What happened to Grandma? Where is she now?”

Oliver pressed her down silently. “Grandma fell by accident. The doctors have already issued a critical condition notice.”

Cassandra’s vision went dark. Her mind went blank. “How is that even possible? Grandma is strong for her age. She didn't have moevement problems so how did she even fall in the first place?”

She shouted once more, “Where is she now? I want to see her!”

Oliver blocked her way and pressed her shoulders, forcing her to sit down. “You can’t go unless you sign this.”

Cassandra looked down at the document. It was an agreement refusing her inheritance.

Her throat tightened as she looked at him in disbelief. “What do you mean by this?”

Oliver lowered his eyes guiltily. After a long moment, he looked up at her. “Sandra, give Grandma Willow’s inheritance to Bianca.”

“Grandma has always favored you and ignored Bianca. Now you still have me, but Bianca has nobody…”

Cassandra trembled with anger. Her vision darkened again. “The inheritance is made on Grandma Willow’s own decision. I will never sign it! Don’t even think about it, Oliver!”

Oliver’s gentle tone disappeared. His face became cold. “Isn’t having me enough? My money is your money. Why are you so narrow-minded, insisting on things that don’t belong to you?”

“Ask yourself, who the hell is the one wanting something that doesn’t belong to them?” Cassandra said coldly. “I don’t want to argue with you. Move!”

Suddenly, several bodyguards appeared.

Bianca walked in with a sweet smile. “Sister, I suggest you sign quickly. If you wait any longer, you might not see Grandma one last time.”

Cassandra stared at her with red, furious eyes. “She is your Grandma too, Bianca. Why are you so heartless?”

“Stop talking nonsense,” Bianca said impatiently. “Are you signing the paper or not?”

Cassandra’s pupils trembled as she looked at Oliver. He urged her with his eyes and then turned on a live video from Grandma Willow’s hospital room.

On the screen, Grandma Willow lay on the bed. Her face was pale, her breathing weak.

She kept calling softly, “Sandra… Sandra…”

Each word felt like a knife stabbing Cassandra’s heart, making it hard to breathe.

“Fine,” Cassandra said hoarsely. “I’ll sign.”

Her hand shook as she held the pen. Tears would not stop falling. She wiped her face hard and signed her name.

The moment she finished signing, it felt as if all her strength had disappeared. She forced herself to stand up, about to rush to Grandma Willow’s hospital.

Suddenly, the monitor sounded with sharp beeping noises.

On the screen, Grandma Willow opened her eyes and said her final word, “Cassandra…”

Then her eyes slowly closed. There was no more sound.

Cassandra’s eyes widened in horror. “No! Grandma! Wait for me! I haven’t seen you yet! Don't leave me alone!”

She tried to run, but Oliver grabbed her arm, his face full of false concern. “You’re too weak. You need to rest.”

Unable to hold back her rage, Cassandra slapped him hard. “Get lost! If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have missed her last moment! Drop dead, Oliver!”

She screamed until her voice broke. The way she looked at him was full of hatred.

Oliver felt as if he didn’t recognize her anymore. In the past, Cassandra’s eyes were always full of love and gentleness when she looked at him.

When had they become filled with hatred?

A strange, uneasy feeling surged in his heart. His breathing became unstable.

Still, he tightly held her arm and explained in panic, “I didn’t expect this to happen. I’ll take you there now.”

Ignoring her resistance, Oliver forced her into his car.

As they left the ward, Bianca stood behind them, holding the contract tightly. Her eyes were full of malice.

Inside the car, Oliver’s phone rang.

Cassandra saw the message from Bianca on the screen.

[Oliver, this time my sister will definitely try to fight me for Grandma Willow’s inheritance. Help me keep her here for a few days. Let her leave only after the funeral is over.]
