Wanda didn’t want to tell Jazzy that she was leaving, only said weakly, "I’m tired, really tired."
Jazzy was surprised to hear Wanda’s answer, "Why would you be tired? It’s going to be the 1,000th time, only one left. Don’t you want me to come back to you soon?"
Wanda shook her head and said, "But this time it’s your fault."
This answer shocked Jazzy again.
He said with dissatisfaction, "It’s my fault, so what? Every time we broke up, you couldn’t wait to coax me, you couldn’t bear being apart from me even for a minute and you never cared who was right or wrong!"
"But this time, I’m very tired—and I care a lot." Wanda said weakly, then hung up the phone.
In less than a second, Jazzy called again.
Before, after every breakup, Wanda would be thrilled to see Jazzy calling her and would rush to answer. Listening to his complaints, his dissatisfaction, his nonsense…
But this time, Wanda truly didn’t want to hear any of it. She just wanted to wait quietly for half a month, then leave silently.
She turned off her phone and went to take a bath.
But what Wanda didn’t expect was that in less than fifteen minutes, the bathroom door opened. Jazzy stood in front of her, panting.
Looking at Wanda lying in the bathtub enjoying herself, Jazzy asked with frustration, "Why don’t you coax me back to you? Why do you want me to bow down to you? Have you forgotten our promise?"
"If you really love me, you’ll accept everything about me unconditionally—my strengths and flaws, my likes and dislikes. Stay with me when I cry, when I make trouble, when I laugh, when I go crazy… You have to accept all of this!"
Facing Jazzy’s one-sided questioning, Wanda suddenly realized how foolish her past self had been.
She looked at Jazzy calmly, "Do you know what truth these 999 breakups have made me understand?"
Jazzy was slightly curious, "What is it?"
"Love is a two-way rush, not a one-way compromise."
Jazzy froze. He stared at Wanda blankly.
Wanda said nothing else and rose from the bathtub. Water splashed down her perfect curves, filled with intoxicating allure. And this perfect S-line didn’t exist before.
It was because Wanda once saw Jazzy scrolling short videos, full of hot beauties. From that day on, Wanda exercised daily, controlled her diet, rain or shine—just to become the most flawless image in Jazzy’s eyes.
"No, it’s not like that!" Jazzy rushed forward recklessly, hugged Wanda tightly and whispered in her ear, "Our love is a two-way run, not a one-way compromise like you said. My feelings for you are real."
He began kissing her desperately.
It was like countless times before—whenever Wanda got angry, as long as Jazzy lowered his pride a little and gave a sweet kiss… Then they would ignite like dry firewood at a single spark.
She couldn’t count how many times the same scene had played out. She only knew the whole villa—upstairs and downstairs, balcony, bedroom, study, living room, bathroom—all had witnessed their passion ignite.
But this time, he was pushed away by Wanda.
At this moment, Jazzy was really scared. He had never had such a strong feeling, afraid of losing Wanda.
