My adoptive parents claimed that they had won three cruise ship tickets in a lottery, so they brought me along. However, something unexpected happened to me. When the ship had just set sail, the crew demanded for me to pay one hundred and thirty-two thousand dollars for the trip.
I found it so absurd. So, I pulled my phone out ready to start a TikStar Live and report this matter to the police.
Before I could do anything, the crew smashed my phone on the spot and dragged me to a deserted island he told me, "If you don’t pay up, you can stay here to work off your debt!”
However, when I looked around the island, the more I felt the place was familiar, especially the unique pink swing. Wasn't it the same island that Travis Nelson wanted to give me?
A few years ago, Travis tried to give me an island that looked like this. I’d refused back then, but fate had a cruel sense of humor. I was brought here under such circumstances.
Just as I was about to reveal my identity and reconnect with Travis, someone else started a TikStar LIVE and pretended to be me.
——
“You’re engaging in extortion!” I shouted, my body trembling with rage. My eyes burned with fury.
When we first received the tickets, I had been wary that my adoptive parents would be victims of scams. I checked everything multiple times and even called the cruise company for confirmation. Only after ensuring everything was legitimate did, we board the ship.
Upon boarding, the crew mentioned an extra service fee of one thousand three hundred and twenty dollars, so we paid it gladly.
After all, I didn't think I could get an excellent deal and felt at peace after paying for the service charge.
However, I never thought that I would have to pay for the cruise trip for the amount of one hundred and thirty-two thousand dollars. It was so ridiculous!
The crew rolled their eyes and sneered, "Do you really think that winning a lottery will gain you the chance to freeload on a high-end cruise?"
She mocked, "Poor people like you shouldn't try to act like rich people. Look at you! You clearly don't have the bearing of a rich people and the fortune to enjoy it.
Several burly sailors surrounded me, their menacing glares making it clear they wouldn’t hesitate to use force.
"My parents!" I yelled. "Where are they? I’ll pay, but I need to ensure their safety first.” I retreated step by step and slipped my hand quietly into my pocket to call for help.
However, the crew member saw through my ploy. She slapped me hard across the face, her sharp nails scratching my skin.
She snatched my phone from my hand, threw it to the ground and stomped on it repeatedly. Then she snarled, "You've really got some nerve, huh? How dare you pull a stunt on us!"
She ordered, "Take her to the island and make her a slave!”
She patted my cheek and smiled coldly, "Freeloader, good luck surviving here. As for your parents? That depends on whether they’re willing to pay or not."
A black cloth was thrown over my head and plugged me into darkness. I struggled wildly as I tried to tear the cloth away, but a swift kick landed on my arm. A sickening crack echoed; it was the sound of my bone breaking.
I screamed in agony, the pain making me lose control of my body. They tied me up with ropes and I could only gasp in shallow breaths to cope with the torment.
Locked inside a cage, I shouted and begged for mercy, but no one responded to my plea and the only sound I could hear were the sound of the crashing waves and my own breathing. This fact chilled my body and made me falling into despair.
Time dragged on. Faintly, I heard someone singing, using my own voice. It sounded like someone was playing one of my songs, or perhaps it was from TikStar LIVE. However, when I tried to listen more closely, the sound vanished, leaving me unsure if it had been real or just a hallucination.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, footsteps approached. It was the same crew member.
Desperate, I begged, “I’ll pay the money! Give me a phone and I’ll transfer the one hundred and thirty-two thousand dollars, right now! I have the money! Please, let me pay!”
Silence fell around us and from above us came the voice of the crew, like evil spirits. "Too late! That one hundred and thirty-two thousand dollars isn’t enough anymore.”
“I’ll pay whatever you want!” I pleaded.
She sneered, “Too bad. You’re already on the island. From now on, you’ll stay here as a slave to repay your debt.”
